Was wondering if God just kind of writes us off? I have been so ill for so long and I've asked for healing for so long I am beginning to think there is no hope anymore.

No, God does not ignore us. In order for God to grant our requests me must not give up the faith and do our best to do His Will. I, too, have many chronic illnesses in my body since birth and I have not given up. You know what they say about praying, right? As Pastor John said, "The Bible tells us to have patience with prayers. It tells us to have faith, and to never doubt the Lord and His ways."
Keep the faith and don't ever doubt God. For nothing is impossible for God.
