Prayer to end Divorce - God's Son - 10-20-2013 10:34 PM
Please pray for my family. My wife and I have been seperated for a year, we have 2 children. I tried everything that I could do physically combined with prayer to restore my marriage. She still wants a divorce and expressed of finalizing everything as soon as possible before the end of the month. I let go and let God, leaving in his hands . I have prayed for The Lord to work in me and to soften my spouse's heart but she is convinced that after 7 years of marriage that we are not meant to be together. Pray for us and The Lord 's blessing for restoration. God bless you all.

Keep praying and STANDING for your marriage...the Lord will be with you every step of the way. I, too, was headed for divorce from my wife in 2008. Like you, I was praying for the restoration of my marriage. It wasn't until I changed the focus of my prayers that restoration started to take place. Once I let everything go and put it in the Lord's hands, things started to change. I no longer tried to repair the relationship myself. I said, "Lord, there is nothing I can do to fix this. I give it all to You."
I quit praying for the restoration and started praying for my wife. There was no need to pray for the restoration of my marriage. The Lord knew what was in my heart. He knew I wanted my marriage restored. I simply started praying for my wife. Once I did that, I started to see the changes in her. It was obvious the Lord was working in her heart. I started and ended every day with a prayer for her. Once I got out of the Lord's way, he took over. I simply asked him to handle all of it and I would accept whatever His will might be.
