Help us to resist the devil and draw near to You. - yeshuaboy - 07-23-2013 05:29 AM
Our Heavenly Father, thank You that You are alongside us to guide us, strengthen us and encourage us. Thank You for providing Your armor, Your Holy Spirit, Your Son Yeshua, to save us in this battle.
Loving and Merciful Father, please help us, Your children, come together in ways that honor You, reveal Your character and lead others to You.
Mighty and Sovereign Elohim, our Master, please help us to be Your faithful steward as we work to build Your kingdom here on earth.
Faithful Shepherd, thank You for calling us to be one of Your flock and for taking such good care of us. We can only run the race because You empower us to run. We can only faithfully manage the things You have entrusted to our care because You teach us about storing up treasures in heaven. We can only put one foot in front of the others because You are holdings our hand.
O Eternal, when we lean on our own understanding rather than trusting in You, we do not allow trials to contribute to our growth in grace and knowledge. Please forgive us for not trusting more completely in You.
Abba Father, please help us to resist the devil and draw near to You, rather than draw near to temptation and resist Your grace. Open our eyes, that we may see the marvelous truths contained in Your Word. To You be glory and dominion for ever and ever.
We pray in the Name of the One on whom our hopes depend, the Living Bread, Your Beloved Son Yeshua, the Messiah, the Way, the Truth and the Life. Amen, halleluyah.
