I am a newspaper vendor in a shelter/half-way house. They send us out on corners where we have to get donations &/or sell the paper to pay for our rent & get a commission from the rest. Now I have a few areas where I do well where there is a large church going or Jewish community. They think I'm a good christian & they give to me. So the other vendors have taken to telling them I'm a lesbian & like to stare at women among other things. I'm fighting a losing battle telling people I'm not gay.
Please pray that God will vindicate me & I will increase instead of decreasing. Even the people in the office are laughing about this. They cut up my shoes to make it difficult for me to work in the street & ruin my shirts every time I buy them. I'm always needing to buy things back instead of saving my money to get much needed things done.
