Most of my life (I just turned 20 and at least from the time I was 9 which is when I began committing more time to prayer), I have felt a personal relationship with God but it wasn't until recently about 4 months ago that I began reading the Bible. The reason why I did is because I thought it would bring me closer to God. I felt that where I was and what I knew about God wasn't good enough until I knew His Word.
Now though, I'm having a hard time believing in Jesus completely. What came before this "ubelief" if I can even call it that exactly is that I prayed that I would be shown how to rely on God completely so I almost believe that this is just my prayer being answered but it has gotten very difficult to deal with feeling like you are not completely positive you believe and at the same time knowing I must because otherwise I wouldn't focus on it so much. My fear comes from the fact I have never known in my heart that I am "saved." Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one gets to the Father except through me" so I'm afraid that if I don't fully believe in Jesus' word and specifically his Ressurection because it's impossible to comprehend with the human mind, then I certainly will not be saved. I must snap out of this questioning but I'm not really sure how. I've prayed through it and I know God hears me or at least I hope so. I've prayed asking God to help me as He did "doubting Thomas" and I've felt terrible through this because I never thought it would happen to me.
My request is that everyone prays for my faith to be completely restored and never in question again. And that I learn to trust and love God above all else so that I may have the eternal life He promised to those who believe. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this and pray.

Dear one,surely reading the Bible (beginning with New Testament) your faith will grow.It is important that before starting to read the Bible (good to do that in the morning) to ask to the Lord to help you to understand what you read and to get His words into your heart.
