PRAY FOR MY JOB - Dawn1 - 05-15-2012 01:35 AM
THERE IS CO-WORKER ON MY JOB WHO HAS PLANTED REALLY BAD SEEDS WITH GOSSIP AND SLANDER. SOME OF IT INVOLVED ME. SHE HAS DESTOYED MY CHARACTER, ALONG WITH A FEW OTHERS. MANY OF HER GOOD DEEDS ARE FOR SELFISH MOTIVES. PRAY THAT EITHER GOD WILL REMOVE HER FROM THIS PLACE OR THAT HE REMOVES ME, AND PLACE ME IN ANOTHER SCHOOL TO WORK. PLEASE, I NEED AS MAY PRAYER WARRIOR TO STAND IN THE GAP TO PRAY GOD'S WILL IN THIS SITUATION. THANKS!

Praying for you Dawn. Sometimes it's best to just bless those who do these things and let God fight your battles. Not easy to do, but who said the Christian life is easy? The greatest witness to your innocence is your smiling happy confident face as you trust God to deal with a situation you can't deal with anyway.
This so reminds me of the book "Yes Lord" where author Harald Bredeson had such terrible rumours spread abt him that no one wd even speak to him. God sd, "If you run away, you will just have to go through it all again some other place." He prayed in tongues all the time because he didn't know what to pray. Finally God acted, truth was revealed, and Bredeson was elevated to a place of great influence for Jesus in that town. Which was probably what God intended in the first place. All because he stuck it out and just prayed.

Lord I pray that you will bind Satan from this work place. Lord I pray that the gossip and slander will stop . I pray for kindness in this workplace. Please let there be a good work enviroment where employess do their job and they get along, please bind all of Satans evilness. Lord with you all things are possible. And I ask this in Jesus Precious name Amen.

I hope this won't give Dawn a swelled head, but she is especially privileged. There aren't many God can entrust with this level of persecution. Dawn has been found worthy--"rejoicing that they were found worthy to suffer shame for His name" (Acts 5:41). If she can keep her Christian cool and tell people "I forgive X for spreading those false rumours. I turn her and everyone involved into the hands of God and ask His blessing on them." ("Bless those who despitefully use you. Bless, and curse not.") This brings God into the scene. He often seems VERY slow, but is VERY thorough. It is well worth taking your hands right off the situation while waiting for Him to act ("They did not wait for His advice...and He gave them their request but sent leanness into their soul." Psalm 106 verses 13 and 15).
This slanderer has not destroyed Dawn's character at all. Only Dawn can do that. She may be in the process of making it. Highlighting it. Revealing it for the whole world to see!

We get up, brush ourselves off, put our hand back in His Hand, and move on!

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up Dawn's request and standing in the gap for her. I ask that the eyes of all who surround this co-worker of Dawn be opened to see the situation as it really is. I ask that other associates will be given ways to speak truth and light into the situation. I pray for godly illumination and wisdom for this slanderer co-worker and send someone who can minister truth and peace into the situation. I pray for Dawn's safety and I am asking that Dawn be spared from getting caught up in the dark net of spiritual confusion and deception and enabled her to aid others who are ensnared. Father, I pray that any demonic power within this co-worker or within this situations manifest itself that it may be clearly discerned and seen by all the people at her workplace. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
