Prayer for employment - Robert G. - 04-30-2012 04:46 PM
Please pray that our LORD will lead me to a permanent full-time job, and bring an end to 4 years of "on and off" contracting. The time has come where I am worn out from the roller coaster ride of one contract to another. My family is grown, and I am ready to settle in to a regular job. I would rather have peace and simplicity than stress and money.
In 2007 my career was hit with a major setback that forced me in to the world of IT contracting. While things were OK in 2008, the economy crashed, and I have been tossing in the waves ever since. In March of 2010 my mom passed away from liver cancer. At the end of February 2012, my current contract ended. I know that times of testing have their spiritual value, and in the end the LORD will provide. However I confess that I am tired and becoming discouraged.
I believe in the power of prayer, and that The LORD will answer. There is nothing impossible for the our GOD, and with faith all things are possible. However there is nothing more damaging to faith than discouragement. That is my greatest fear; discouragement draining my faith and dragging me lower. With faith all things are possible, so I ask that your prayers also include that the Holy Spirit will defeat discouragement and fill me with the strength to endure.

Dear Lord I pray that you will bind Satan from Robert G. I pray my Lord that you will guide him. Please open the doors of opportunity for him. if it's a new job or if it's new work for his Contracting buisness. Lord with you all things are possible. I pray that Robert G won't be discouraged anymore. I pray that he puts his faith and trust in you. Lord I pray that you will give him strength and you will ease his burdens. I pray that you will provide for him. Lord he believes in prayers being answered and so do I. Please let him be a testament to all of your over flowing blessings coming his way. And I ask this in Jesus Precious name Amen.

Heavenly Father we pray for Robert and ask that you give him the strenght that only you can give, you know how he feels and how discouraged he is at this moment. Give him the strenght to overcome this attack of discouragement that he feels that the enemy is trying to keep him down but your word says in Isaiah 40:31 but those that wait upon the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. Please give him the desire to seek you everyday and be lifted up in your word so he can overcome the discouragement and increase his faith and trust in you for you are in control of everything. We also ask that you give him the job that he needs to have peace and not worry too much so he can focus on you Father and worship and praise you. We pray in JESUS name amen!

You are waiting on God for an answer but God is waiting on you to commune with Him. When you are born-again, if not, please get saved, the Holy Spirit dwell in the spirity man. He is there all the time, He doesn't leave you, He doesn't take a vacation, He is waiting for you to know Him in the Spirit. If you are not saved, God will not hear your prayer. You must have a relationship and fellowship with God the Father through his son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Be blessed.
