husband wants a divorce - loving_wife - 02-07-2012 09:20 AM
My husband and I have had many challenges in the last few years - job loss, living apart for work and infertility. Our marriage was going well and progressing in the right direction (after set backs with all the challenges) but then after a small argument my husband became convinced he wants a divorce. We are now separated. Please pray that my husband has a change of heart, that he sees all the growing we've done together in the last few years and that he seeks guidance from someone who can lead him back to our marriage. I love him dearly and have faith that things will get better between us if he'll just see it too.

Thank you for your prayers. I've been feeling discourage the last couple days but I've still been praying for my marriage and the strength to endure this. Please continue to pray for my husand and I. There are marriages out there that overcome far greater troubles than my husband or I have. Please pray that my husband opens his heart and mind to saving our marriage instead of ending it. Thank you again.

Father God, have mercy on this wife. Have mercy on this husband and bring them under your protection and to be obedient to your will. May they embrace the vows that they took and KNOW that what you have joined together is NOT to be broken. Father God, bring a new desire to them to FIGHT for their marriage and to claim the victory. I pray that this husband's eyes be OPENED in the name of Jesus. AMEN.
