Prayer for unsaved spouse - Billy2012 - 01-03-2012 10:31 AM
Please help me. I need support and prayer for my marriage. we seem to disagree about everything. I have known him all my life. It has been over 20 years but it seems that we want different things. For the past 4 years I have been praying for my husband's salvation. He is catholic and sees a lot of things differently. I know he has a good heart but I feel he is living in the past and having trouble moving into the future that God has for us. I believe in God and that He is the only one that can truly marry us and make our marriage a new unit in God. Our marriage should not be an extension of his parental unit.
Please pray for the peace and health of this marriage. I feel I can not go on like this. Please pray that I have strength in Christ's sufficiency. Bind the spirit of loneliness and despair in Jesus Name.

I pray that God will answer all the prayers of His children and that the devil will not continue to wreak havoc in our lives anymore in Jesus Name (Amen).

Father, please open the eyes of both this Billy and her husband to the path you have for them. Let them see YOU in a new way as their guide through this life. Minister to their hearts that they find contentment in YOU and then in each other. Help this husband to cleave to his wife and to become the leader in his home that you mean for him to be. Help this wife to become the helpmate you created her to be. Bring joy and peace to their marriage and a love that is grounded in Your love for us all. In Jesus name...Amen!

I am making this prayer my daily prayer. God is able and will fix all the broken pieces of our lives in Jesus Name (Amen).
