Marriage in dire need of prayer - psychnurse - 10-18-2011 12:48 AM
My husband, a seminary student, told me last night that he was leaving. After talking to him, he has agreed to stay but he was clear he is staying for our young son. If I am unable to change things about my behavior he will leave. We have been together for 17 years and I still love him with all my heart and he says he still loves me, but can't stay with me as I hurt him too much. Please, please pray for us. Pray that God will change me, will calm my temper, vanquish my pride and make me like the Proverbs 31 woman. Pray that God will heal my husband's heart, heal his soul, ease his mind and allow him to forgive me. Please pray that God will make our marriage like new again.

Father, please in your love for her hear the prayer of psychnurse and answer her. Release her from pride and hurtful words. Give her a sweetness in temperment that will be pleasing to you and to her husband. Help her to become the woman that you would have her to be. In Jesus name...Amen!
