divorcing but not by choice - inneed11 - 07-05-2011 10:12 PM
I am currently going through a divorce. We have 5 children all together. I have a 17y/o, he has a 9y/o & 16y/o & together we have 2 baby girls, 23mos & 7mos. I had been going through postpartum since shortly after finding out I was pregnant last May. My Husband had been great & supportive throughout. I had no idea our relationship was coming to an end. He never once told me he was unhappy. Just always been loving & I thought understanding. But he has been having an affair since February. My whole family/kids & myself are just devastated, as well as our friends. He never lead on to anyone that we were headed for divorce. He is my first Husband, I took my marriage vows very serious. Divorce was not an option for me but now its not even a choice. I am asking that you pray for our kids, they are having a very hard time with this & with him. Also request that you pray for my Husband. He was once a Godly man & obviously turned from that to have an affair with a married woman(who has had several affairs on her hsbd). I pray that he comes to repentance. As it may be to late for praying for intervention in our divorce, I know its not to late for him. As I thought I was following Gods will to marry him, please pray that I continue to follow his will, whatever that may be now.

I am so sorry. I pray that God will work a mighty miracle for you and your husband. I pray a hedge of thorns around you both and that your husbands lover will walk away from him. I pray for strength and guidance for you during this time. Cling to God, he is with you ok! AMEN
