My father has been unwell for the last few weeks and we're all so worried because even though his belief in God is strong he seems to be giving up. This illness seems to be the last straw for him- he's had a very hard life and has bent over backwards to make our lives comfortable, no matter what. Dear Lord, you've always listened to our prayers and to his prayers for us, please make his life comfortable. Please give me the strength and tools I need to help him. I have always believed you listen to all prayers, please don't take so long answering this one.
