? My wife has been unfaithful - ronjs - 03-30-2011 07:33 AM

Dear all,

I believe that my wife has been unfaithful to me and when I have asked her she either denies it or does not say a thing.

I need urgent prayer for God to reveal the truth to me and for Him to establish some witnessess to this!

This is driving me insane.

May God bless you all.

Ron

When a wife strays search your own soul as to why. If you keep your wife happy and show her love she will stay faithful. If your suspicions are true then pray this prayer for her instead of nagging her. Let God convict her for only He knows our heart.
Proclaim the confessions given below. God's word never fails!
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon formed against __________________’s and my marriage will prosper and every
tongue raised against our reconciliation, God is showing in the wrong, for this is my heritage as
a child of God and my righteousness is from Him.
Jeremiah 1:12
Father, I thank You that You are hastening Your Word in my marriage in Jesus’ name.
Luke 18:8
I thank You, Father, for speedily avenging Your Word in my marriage in Jesus’ name.
II Chronicles 16:9
I thank You, Father, for showing Yourself strong on behalf of my marriage and reconciliation
with _____________________ for I am perfect in Jesus.
Joel 2:25, Isaiah 61:7; Proverbs 6:31
I praise You, Father, in Jesus’ name for restoring to _____________________ and me
everything the enemy stole, including our (list what Satan has stolen from you), and I thank You
that instead of shame we have a double portion. I see everything restored with the eye of my
faith according to Your Word.
Luke 21:15
Satan cannot overcome me for You have given me a mouth and wisdom. The enemy cannot
gainsay or resist in Jesus’ name.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 19:20
I thank You, Father, that the gates of hell are not prevailing against me and my marriage, for I
am the church, and Jesus said that the gates of hell would not prevail against me. Therefore, the
Word of God is prevailing in _____________________’s and my marriage, according to Your
promises in these scriptures in the mighty name of Jesus.

God, please help Ron to learn to be a peace with what may have happened. Let him not falsely accuse his wife of wrong doing because that in itself can ruin their relationship. I pray that his wife has remained faithful to him and should he find out differently, forgiveness and change will occur in their relationship. Let this all work out peacefully.

My husband cheated on me with my best friend. Although it was hurtful and it took him 3 years to tell the truth about it, I forgave him. We have both wronged each other in our marriage, but forgiveness is key. Many people would rather get upset and walk away from their problems by getting a divorce instead of facing the facts and moving forward together. It is the strongest of marriages that stay together. We went to a Christian counselor and after lots of prayer, we were able to work through things. Our marriage is strong and we are more in love than ever. Best of luck to you and your wife.

My suspicions first started when a male acquaintance came to visit in our house. We were sitting around our round kitchen table.

My wife and this male acquaintance sat very close leaning in towards each other and he had his hands on the table and she placed her hands on his hands and started to stroke his hands (which went on and on). Meanwhile I was totally ignored by my wife and the male acqaintance as they talked lovingly as she continued to hold both his hands and stroking them.

Devastated by the pain and humiliation I walked outside of my house and waited until he left and then walked in and asked her what on is going on between you 2?

She angrily replied, what are you talking about. The male acquaintance was going thru his second divorce, at this time.

So please spare me the platitudes of what was my wife missing from me.

I have found out that prior to our marriage she was an extremely promiscious woman.

So once again please do not patronize me. Instead of laying the guilt trip on me - we live in an increasing sinful world where audltery/affairs are seen as the norm.

Confront the man. Decide what you will do about adultry if proven. Ask God that the truth be revealed. Hire a dective if affordable, or talk to friends about what they might know. Are you willilng to forgive her if she has done this? Then tell her so if yes and then go for councelling. If not then tell her that you can no longer live in doubt and then you both go for councelling. Watch the movie fireproof, read the book and work on saving this marriage. Do not let this eat you up. You need outside help and must seek it out. Your marriage is worth your best effort to save it.

After giving her many chances to confess she refuses. She event denied the humiliation of the intimacy she performed in our own house with me sitting there being ignored. I have caught her out skillfully lying to me on another occasion. Yes I have begged God to show me the truth.

BTW...I am a highly trained professional that deals with people in crises. Not all marriages can be saved! It takes both partners to make a total committment. Adultery breaks trust and intimacy etc. God also hates adultery. The only way I will get the truth is from God and this is what I want prayer for...I have given my wife every opportunity to confess

Ron, I was betrayed by now former spouse. You are right, some marriages are savable while others may not be. Key factor is both have to WANT it. My ex did not. I will pray for you, that truth is revealed, for your peace & protection from GOD. There is nothing like being kicked aside by someone you love. God Does See All.
God Bless you.

Read how Hebrews regards the behaviour of husband and wife. No wife should stroke and caress and gaze lovingly into another man's eyes or sit closely leaning into each other. To rub salt into the wound it was done in front of the husband - that is not Godly behaviour. This was a prolonged act of intimacy towards another man. Can't you guys read and interpret body language - it's not rocket science!

I have no doubt that God does not support this behaviour from a married spouse. Neither does God support deceit.

What I ultimately do, is between God, my spouse and myself. So please stop offering advice etc. I am simply asking for prayers.

I work extensively helping other people who are in despair etc. All I seek of you is your prayers for revelation from God

Cheers
