Dear God, I have posted here many times anonymously. You have led others to my posts and helped me not feel alone through you and through the prayers they share with me. I thank you. Today I also thank you for having my ex-boyfriend call me. I have been so worried for him, and I was so grateful that he called. God, you have shown me that you haven't forgotten me, even though my faith has wavered.
My ex-boyfriend is going on a path that I don't understand, and one I think he forces himself on. He is hurt, and he is lost. Please show him the way to the purpose he seeks so desperately. Please keep his faith strong. But, God, please also don't let him shut himself off to a love that was genuine. If it is your will, please bring him home to a life where he is accepted for who he is... a life where loneliness doesn't need to be his constant companion and where his demons can be faced with the help and faith of a partner. Above all, God, please bring him happiness... where ever he is. Please bring him to a place in life where he can be at peace... where ever it is.
Please keep me strong, too, Lord. I am weak. I hurt myself, and I am getting lost in my own mind. Please bring me strength. I know I am strong, but please remind me of it in the hours and days of weakness and help me to not feel so lost and hurt. Please stay with me, because I need you so.

Father, touch this young woman with your power and remove all of her doubts and fears. Let her walk in the certainty that you want what is best for her and for her life. Let her know in her heart that if she will let you, you will lead her to her destiny whatever it may be knowing that because it is your plan for her, it will be filled with joy and wonder. Touch this young man bringing peace to his heart and his spirit. Lead him to the path of righteousness dear Father that he may feel your love and your power. Father help them both to fall in love with your Son that their lives might have meaning and know joy. In Jesus name...Amen!
