Hi,
I have a list of issues and the range is pretty wide. This particular prayer is going to be for one of my many issues.
My name is Edwin Lindeman I have obsessive thoughts that come and go. All my life I can't seem to control my thoughts and they interfere with my life and those around me.
For the last week or so I have been thinking of this one person that I barely know and he won't leave my mind. I've been trying everything from praying, meditating and even writing down my thoughts but my mind won't clear. I don't know why cause usually when I have obsessive thoughts of someone they stay in my mind for a few days then they leave.
I'm scared and real sad. I pray for a release of thoughts and a calming of the mind. I pray for the person that is in my mind for their health and success. Please God please bring peace to my thoughts.

Lord it is difficult to control thoughts at times but you own the victory. You said we are to take every thought captive to obiedence to Jesus christ. I ask Lord that you would help Edwin to do this. also Lord help Edwin to seek medical attention. Obbsessive complusive disorder is a real illness and perhaps needs some medical attention. Lord give Edwin the victory over these thoughts and take them captive to obiedence in you. Help him to stand strong and to not give up. Help him to perservere diligently. Help him to pray daily that he can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens him. Say, I am more than a conquerer by Christ Jesus. You need to say it and believe it until you can do it. Lord be victorious in these thoughts that are not God honouring. Stand firm and hold fast always.

Dear Havenly Father The Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven forgive us are sin as we for give are debtor and lead us not into temptiation but deliver us from evil Please answer this person prayer acord to your will and bless there life Lord and we give you all the honor,glory, and priase to whom all power belong. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY AMEN
