I have struggled with overdrinking for along time. My husband died 7 years ago. I still try to kill the pain with alcohol. Thank you for your prayers

Dear Lord, Be with Mary Jane and heal her of her alcohol addiction. Wrap your arms around her and comfort her in her grief. Give her friends and projects to fill her time and events and plans to look forward to, anything to remove the desire to be alone drinking, giving her instead reasons to live a full and vibrant life. Lord Jesus, help her to find a group to join, anything from AA to a church or hiking or watercolor group. Help her to get up, get ready and get out, walk, take photos, fill her lungs with fresh air, look around, try new recipes, invite friends over for brunch or dinner. Encourage Mary Jane to rejoice in you Lord and the life she has, perhaps helping others overcome their addictions or comforting other in their grief. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
