Other Prayer Request Sites: Never Trust All of Them - Mel-S - 12-17-2010 11:18 PM

Please pray for the people who run other prayer request sites... sometimes they do not run the sites as they should...

I registered and posted a request on a site today. Soon enough, I got SUSPENDED on the site! I contacted the person running the site, and he said this: "I suspended you because I am concerned about a repeat of something that happened before. it becomes disruptive." "A repeat of what?" I asked. He said: "someone who was going through nearly the same thing as you, almost identical, a few months ago." And he believed it would end the exact same way some person has done. Then he said this as well: "all kinds of things go on here, and i cant let them all play out. faked suicides, site attacks, people posting every hour for the same thing, praying to dead saints, kids playing manipulation games, and on and on, somewhere about 1-3 people per day get banned." He believes I could be someone else that could be disruptive. "After all these years i generally get a feel for when something doesn't seem right from administrating this site." Why judge me when I haven't been on the site for less than a day? I tried to get a definitive reasoning from him, but I could not get one. So I gave up. I could not understand what I did wrong, but since that was his decision so be it. Then he replied: "Yeah. I'm pretty sure I see where you are heading." I said "Only God can see it... not a human." "Fair enough", he said. Then I said "God Bless you." and I added as a little joke, "See you on May 4, 2038 at 10:52 pm. Apparently that was what the email told me when I'll get my account back!" And there it ended...

Let this be a lesson: never trust all prayer sites. They could ban/suspend you out of fear or some thing that someone else has done and fear you will be the same way. I have never felt so pushed off, especially from another Christian. And a prayer request site no less. Pray for him to take whatever it is that is bothering him away. I don't know what else to say here. I feel betrayed and disappointed. And angry as well. This week... this year... I seriously do not know what is wrong with me. Just what is wrong with me? Oh well. God bless.

you ask:
"Just what is wrong with me? "

We are continually growing when we are in CHRIST. It is HIS WILL For our lives, not our will.
Try posting less detail, choose other prayer sites (everyone has free will including the site owners), go anonymously to post.
The replies here to you, are similar, everyone is pleased that you pray, that you have desires as God Tells us we will, however, mature Christians pray for HIS WILL BE DONE, not my will be done.
You are very angry with God, which pretty much kills off that others have free will also. Try to be joyous for the gifts that God Does give you. When you can't think of anything & HE IS ALL you have, then REJOICE, because,
THAT'S THE POINT.
HE IS our ALL.
You don't have to be perfect, there is no perfect, but GOD IS.
Rest with those thoughts. Try replacing my will be done with HIS WILL BE DONE. Until you can do this in your heart, I believe you will continue to struggle.
Sure, most all have dreams & desires, but not so fixed that they are inflexible & stop growing or refuse to let God Shape us, by HIS WILL.
In end times, we are left with little to nothing, material, or otherwise, but THE LORD REIGNS.
Hold to high morals (you do this), but instead of clinging to desires of those you love with what you want, cling instead to GOD. Then it's HIS WILL & their free will. We are not God, we have to rely on HIM.
Those that are last will be first in Heaven. New Order.
To expect things to be as you wish here is not normal. To desire them to be is. The scope is focused on Heaven, God's Will Be Done, then rejoice with all of your might that it is so. We are blessed when we see the beauty in what IS & THAT IS GOD. HE IS our ALL.
You have to get to this point to be mature as a Christian.
Doesn't mean giving up on dreams & desires, it means being mature enough to realize that they are all HIS WILL For us, & we are only a speck in the big picture. We do matter, however see the larger picture, God Is All & we are in this journey together (free will).
You have to back down with the demands. Make your desires known, pray, then give thanks daily for all you have. Don't quit on God, He Is Not quitting you (that one is the biggest).
Also, stop being angry with God. Others do find this offensive (me included). Normal to be frustrated in situations that are not going as you would like, but maturity is working HARDER to rise ABOVE our trials. There are always trials in life, ALWAYS. The point?
Turn to GOD. That is the point.
what is wrong with you?
you have not yet realized that God Is Going to allow all of this to work out to His Glory by His Will. Rejoice in this. REJOICE.
It will be fine, God's In Charge (not mel, not site owners, not your bfriend, or your mom who smokes cigs... just be happy.. you know how, you do, just do it).
God Almighty we ask that Mel, be thankful for all she has & it may be YOU, that is all at times we have, & this is more than we could ever ask for without YOU we would not have Etneral Life. We praise YOU JESUS & look forward to YOUR RETURN.
Rejoice in THE LORD.

RE: Other Prayer Request Sites: Never Trust All of Them - Guest - 12-18-2010 07:45 AM

Mel, it is sad that these times we are living in are full of heartache & loss. The world is showing signs of His Near Return. It has to be tough for someone your age to live in these times, you have not been on the earth many years. However, if you can look toward Heaven, that our lives are temporal, all of our pain & sorrow will end when we meet JESUS, in Heaven.
It is like, if we are 2 yrs. old, God Is our Father (as HE IS), & we say we want this or that. Our Father (in Heaven) says no. We say again, we want this or that. We are not given it.
So, we may cry & sulk, perhaps even spanked if we continue to push.
However, we need the love of our Father, so we sucuumb to HIS WILL FOR us. Maybe we don't get the candy bar we want in the candy aisle or the cereal we are screaming for, but we get what we need.
With God, that is HIS LOVE.
That is our greatest need.
Remember we have to be as children to enter The Kingdom of Heaven, thus we will be ongoing reprimanded, held back, blessed at times & when we are living according to HIS WORD. Yes, we have free will, but God Is In Charge. He Will Lead us, Guide us, Be there for us.
We live by faith, not by site, so there are times, as His children that we may not see HIS FACE & we need him & cry & carry on & feel abandoned. But HE IS THERE. He Never Leaves us.
We are children of God, so never will we be removed from all suffering or trials. We are HIS children, as Christians. He Is our Safety Net, our Protection. When we allow ourselves to think of the worst case scenerio, as a Christian, then know in our hearts that God Is There & with HIM we have Eternal Life. We are maturing in Christ as long as we live. Even grown ups go through this, you are yet young, so you do not grasp this. No matter how good someone else's situation looks to you or to others, as a Christian we are always given trials. It is the eternal that matters, thus we work to please GOD.
I think too that you do not realize the power of praying for others, finding a niche where you can give to others via your talents, even if unpaid, some way to spread HIS WORD. We are here to serve Jesus Christ, that means saving souls, speaking boldly what Christ Teaches, getting out of ourselves, when He Doesn't Give us what we want, then we go back & say, Father, YOUR WILL BE DONE. For that I give thanks & praise.
Maturing in Christ Jesus.
We are one in CHRIST. Try to be joyous always for what you have.
It is good that you have desires & you want the best for yourself & loved ones, but they are not you, you have to focus on giving to others through JESUS CHRIST. Pray for what it is He Has Called you to do on this earth. It may be just sitting in prayer for others, 1/2 hour a day. But that is a lot. FOCUS ON THAT. We are here to give HIM GLORY. Try spinning what it is you have in your mind, to REJOICE & serve HIM. It is not easy, for a young person in these very trying times, but know that HIS KINGDOM IS NEAR, always we await HIS COMING & then all of the pain & sorrow will be gone.
You have much more power in Christ than you think.
Think more highly of yourself, but align it with The Father In Heaven, so you know what you have to give back. Picture yourself wrapped tightly in HIS ARMS. You are not for want, not with THE LORD GOD.
He Is Divine.
FOCUS. quit focusing on what you have not, but what you have.

one more thing.

When we come into this world we are typically with our parents, or at least one & nurtured (there are many that aren't though too).
When we die, we stand before GOD, it is our soul that is judged.
If you can let yourself picture the worst case ...
that here one is, on a street corner, with nothing. Homeless, no food, shelter, cold, alone. & still we say, praise THE LORD, that YOU ARE THERE JESUS, I want to see YOUR FACE & live with YOU Forever!
We are never for want, with THE LORD GOD.
It's in standing with HIM, baring our souls, with JESUS, no matter how little (or how much) we have, knowing that HE WILL TAKE CARE OF us.
God Is Love, my dear Mel.
Be @ peace no matter what happens in your life. Give Him Praise & trust that HE WORKS THINGS OUT, it's HIS PLAN.
Daily, give HIM PRAISE.
You have so much power in Jesus, in prayer, that you know CHRIST.
utilize this & you will be forever rich (in HIM)! noone can take the wealth from you that you feel in your heart for JESUS. noone.
Give HIM GLORY & PRAISE.
what is wrong with mel? she doesn't yet realize the power she has in CHRIST & that is between you & God.. not anyone else, it's you're soul my dear that stands before HIM. Grab ahold of the power you have in The Lord. we are RICH in HIM, our Savior! RICH!
Eternal Riches.. that's all that really matters, Mel.
Heart Warrior Bless

RE: Other Prayer Request Sites: Never Trust All of Them - Mel-S - 12-18-2010 02:20 PM

With all these posts here... I feel like I'm the worst Christian here. No one really understands why I desire these things... I don't have many people in my life... I rely on my parents a lot... I can't live for myself. I cannot cook, I cannot clean, nor sew, nor how to pay taxes. I don't feel like working most of the time, and I feel sick every weekend beforehand (including today). And if I were to die tonight... chances are I might not receive eternal riches... Because of your reactions to my posts, and also my mind/heart set... Can God understand why I desire these things...? No one really has a clue what I went through since childhood to now... I rather not go into a lot of detail on that either, because I might end up either making you guys more angry... or feel sorry for me out of pity. I try talking to people who I believe could understand... but no one could. I tried therapy; didn't work... I even talk to God every day and night... and nothing changes and things go from bad to worse. My life has been going down instead of up throughout the years. I'm not angry at God... I'm more angry at myself and angry at what my life has become or may become because my desires might not be realized and I could be making you guys even more angry the more times I post a request... which is why I felt like leaving and not post again... because my post always make you guys angry... especially when I speak my mind on some things... It's heartbreaking to say the least... I feel like I'm giving Christians a bad name... I'm sorry. I just don't know what to do here... Do I stop praying all together... or do I just stop posting my heart for the world to see with the risk of angering some people, like I have angered some of you...? I don't know who else to turn to at this time except God... but God put people here on earth to come and talk to as well... that's the thing, I just don't know what other people to turn to... as I have said I do not have many people. I feel alone when it comes to subjects like this... it's like something you don't want to hear, and I understand... maybe I should just go on my own for a while... with God's help... if I angered you guys, I'm sorry... and to withhold any more anger here... I should take my leave for now. I might be back in a few months or something. I've said it once, but I thought I would give it another shot... but maybe I should have waited a bit longer. Thanks for everything. I'll post some other time... keep praying for me... but remember... these desires are all I have left... And if you really knew what's going on besides the stuff I have posted... you may understand why. God Bless.

Mel, free will, do what it takes to get it right with GOD.
Who here said they are angry with you? A post that it is upsetting when you come here continually angry with God, yes, that is upsetting.
You come here & ask HIS WILL, then YOU GET ANGRY WITH US when we post HIS WILL BE DONE.
You are angry Mel. You are angry at your circumstances at God, at us for posting HIS WILL BE DONE.
Your life might not be wortha 2x4 right now to what you see & perhaps not. Maybe your roof is leeking you are starving to death,
your mother smokes & blows it in your face all day long. For this I am sorry, but you CAN CHOOSE & you don't. You can try to move, you can apply for assistance, if it's that bad, go to the rescue mission, you don't have to hang on to this guy that is rebuffing you, it's your choice. You choose to stay angry at God, at us when we say, God, YOUR WILL BE DONE, For Mel.
I'm sorry you are going through a hard time, but guess what? So are most of us, in our own way, we too are suffering because as Christians we suffer.
Noone told you not to post here, noone told you they are angry with you (perhaps that your comments in continual anger of God that is not ok in my view)..
I think Mel has not landed as far as God May Intend for you to land that you finally appreciate what you do have.
I am sorry you are suffering but I do not anymore hear you giving HIM PRAISE or joyous for what you have.
Free will Mel. Everyone wants to see you heal, to be happy & praise The Lord. You are the one that is so immersed in self pity that you are unable to see & what is important to see The Glory of God.
I don't know why you got banned at the other site, perhaps you came in being mad at God, maybe prayer in anger at another's response to you saying, "HIS WILL BE DONE." I have no clue.
I pray you get off the pity pot & quit feeling sorry for Mel. It's not about you Mel, it's about GOD. I pray you heal. I don't believe anyone here is against you or angry with you. You are making this all so hard on yourself you can't even sort through it all.
Perhaps taking time between you & God is the answer.
Noone here has rejected you, you come here, post then are angry when we reply. Our wounds are only healed with CHRIST.
Maybe you have to crawl in your shell to heal.
I see nothing but honest prayer here for you, ongoing. But I see you continuing to post angry responses to our replies.
It's not up to you to please anyone other than GOD & I would suggest that you work on that because that is where true peace lies.
God Bless you & I am quite sure everyone agrees the same.
Trust in HIM, who is our Savior!

He believes I could be someone else that could be disruptive.

Oh well. God bless.

Mel,

I know what he said was hard and it may have been unfounded, but I think that he has a right to do what he does. He sorts through prayer requests in an effort to avoid anything unscriptual, it sounds to me like (like praying to the saints, as you mentioned above). I am not by any means saying that what he did was right, but apparently he did not feel led to pray for you. You have people hear who do pray for you...perhaps you should stick with what you know to work...I mean, obviously these people care enough to pray for you.

I've recently been going through the same kind of thing--like a rut. I feel so depressed and angry...however, it's not a rage. It's like a wall built within me where it makes it difficult to pray or to even talk to God. A lot of things went wrong for me this year and I don't think I've fully dealt with them. One of them included a fued with a friend over the guy-friend I have now (at the time, she wanted to be with him like I did although he had already rejected her). I got rejected, as I've explained before, and then my guy-friend got a horrible girlfriend and dealing with her has been very dramatic. Besides my personal problems, things have been stirred up in my church and it has become difficult to go. I do go faithfully on Sundays, but I could be more so on Wednesdays. Anyway...that aside, it has been a difficult year for me, much like it has been for you.

Perhaps that is why you are feeling the way you are. Maybe, like myself, you are going through a valley period in which you feel like you are in a rut. Is that accurate? To me, it feels like I'm just "done" with life...nothing drastic, but it feels like I'm numb. It's like, why do I even care? I don't know if that describes you at all, but if so, perhaps we can help one another to get out of it. I fear the Lord most of all, especially if I don't ever turn to Him. It just feels so fake when I talk to Him--not because I don't know Him, but because it's like I don't trust Him, which I know is WRONG. I have to fix this problem...could that be what you are going through?

Please keep in touch. It's always nice to hear from you, even we don't actually know one another. I feel like we are going through many of the same trials although they are both unique.

Hope this helped.

Sincerely,

Lost Love

Prayer Request - Guest - 06-21-2011 10:24 AM

Dear brother/sister, God bless you.

This is my prayer request. I got skin disease, vitiligo from more than 4 years, from that time I met all the best doctors that I came to know, I have taken many medicines what doctors has given to me, but as long as I am using medicines with doctors prescribed diet, that disease in control but no complete healing. Still I am using medicines, apart from that recently I am getting black patches on my skin with itching and scars, also my body is getting weak and having back pain. I am the elder son ( 28 years old) to my parents, my sister and mother is having the same skin disease what I have. I am unable to do any work in my home and office due to my sickness. I need healing. Please pray for me and for my mother and sister for our healing and for our family spiritual blessings. God bless you brother for your love and prayers for us. Amen, God bless you.

Your Brother in Christ
