Please help me to find happiness. I have been praying for about 2 months now that I would find happiness but I still can't seem to get out of this depression. My boyfriend and I broke up and it has been hard ever since. I love him with all my heart even though I don't agree with everything he does. I believe he is suffering with depression and PTSD,which he self medicates with alcohol and drugs. Please pray that he will soon realize what he is doing to himself and to those that love him.

Father, lift this depression from this woman and her boyfriend, and let your peace rest on them... break this addiction from this man and heal him completely from this disease... bless both of their lives with happiness I pray in your loving name Jesus, Amen

Father, please restore the joy of salvation to jenjen and bring deliverance of addiction to this man. Help him to hear your voice and know that you are the way Father. In your mercy bring healing to them both that their lives may be made whole. In Jesus name...Amen!

Thank you both so much for your prayers. I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm on the verge of losing everything I have worked so hard for, all because of this man who came into my life. My brain tells me to walk away and that I will be ok but my heart knows how much I love him and want to fix our relationship. I just need a sign of what the right thing to do is

jenjen...in this instance listen to your mind and summon the discipline necessary to walk away and focus on God and your own healing for now. You CANNOT fix the relationship because there are things broken in this man's heart that only he and God can repair. Love him yes...but as God does in an Agape manner without hope for anything with or from him. While in a state of addiction he cannot love you or anyone...not without deliverance from this affliction and you cannot give him that. Staying any longer will only increase your co-dependence and is very dangerous for you emotionally, financially and yes even physically. Pray for his deliverance and for his salvation...but use the wisdom God put into your mind and walk away and tend to your own garden. If you do not and as you suggest...lose everything my sweet girl...it will not be because of this man...it will be because you chose to walk in opposition to God's desire for you. Please consider this and use discernment in your situation for your sake. Love in Christ...

Thank you, I know the right thing to do..I will just have to focus on taking that path. I was slowly getting on the right track when he called me and I went to see him after about a month and a half. My heart just broke when it was time for me to leave. I just wish he could see how much I care and how he really needs to get better. Maybe one day...until then I will try to focus on my happiness
