Please pray for me in my battle against sin. I sinned again last night with a sin I sturggle with. It is doing my head in completely and I am sick of sinning against the Lord like this. Lord I truly am so sorry that I seem unable to beat this demon. Please forgive me though I do not deserve your forgiveness. Father, some weeks back I asked you to show me why I keep falling like this, and you clearly showed me it is stemming from my early youth from issues back then. You told me then Father, that you have dealt with it and you want me to move on as this is why I keep falling, but Father, I do not know how to move on from this and I am still falling. Please Lord, reveal to me what I can do to beat this, show me how to move on from this curse. I am so desperate to beat this demon Lord and need your help. I cannot do it of myself. Please show me how I can beat this once and for all. Thank you Father. I want to please you not offend you. In the name of your Holy son Jesus. Amen.

Lord have your perfect will be done in this person's life, mental health, and this sinful situation. Give them the strength, wisdom, and peace of mind they need to be strong to resist temptations. Break whatever addictions they may have as they make you the cornerstone of their life and allow you to guide their steps from now on. In Jesus Christ Precious Name I pray, and I thank you in advance Heavenly Father to whom all the Honor, the Glory, and the Power belongs, Amen!

Father, please have your way in the life of havemercylord2010. Help him to understand that breaking with this sin is not an issue of just willpower, but rather one of healing, and healing comes from the Word of God and trusting in that Word. Let this man memorize scriptures that empower him to heal. Each time this desire/temptation rises up in him, let him repeat your scriptural word to it. Two thoughts cannot exist in the mind of a man at the same time...by centering his mind on the Word Father, you can bring him to victory over this temptation that plagues him. I ask that you help him to do this in full belief that you will. Bless this man with your peace as he continues his growth in you. In Jesus name...Amen!

Thanks to all who have (and who may still) pray with me for conquering this demon. I am very grateful. bcshelvsme you have worded it well, my need to have the Lord as the corner stone of my life - I fell into this sin last night after an old trick of the devil that has got me before; lulling me into complacency and leaving the way open for his temptations. Adoring1, that is a great way of looking at it when you said that 2 different thoughts cannot live in the same mind at the same time. Memorizing scripture I admit, is something I have not really done yet, but I think I will make the effort to memorize more than I know (which if I am honest is minimal). Thank you both for your input.
