Everyone please join me in prayer for my marriage. My husband was enticed away by another woman in June of 2009. They met at church when I was not attending due to work duties and the addition of our child. My husband was unemployed at the time. The other woman was married but separated from her husband when they met. However, her marriage has since ended.
I need help in prayer to have my husband's eye, ears and heart open back to our Lord. He tells me that he misses his time with the Lord but that he can no longer hear his Voice. I keep praying for God to touch him and draw him away from the evil forces that are trying to control him and back to his love.
When this relationship began, he was into behaviors that he has not been in for years. He has since been trying to get himself back, but he is having strong resistance to the tie that has formed between him and the other woman.
I pray for her too on a daily basis. She is a christian whom the devil has turned. Whenever my husband tries to quote scripture to her, she turns Gods words for her own benefit which makes it difficult for him to break free from. She is not a bad person but someone who is lost amongst the evil works.
I pray that God has a breakthrough with him soon and delivers him from this affair. May he seek the lord and receive God's guidance. Please Lord deliver him home safely!

My sister, your husband is under the oppression of a seducing spirit. I know the pain that you are in...and I hope that you will find insight from the prayer below. Pray for your husband to hunger to return to God...only he can end this oppression by getting through to the heart of your seduced husband. God bless and comfort you.

Thank you for the realization given this morning about how we pray about our troubled marriages. How I wish I had understood this some years ago when I was praying for my own. Forgive me for praying so selfishly then about what I wanted my ex-husband to do while he was caught up in adultery because of my own broken heart, my EROS love for him and my own pain and desires...that I missed the true mark. Perhaps the growth you have provided over these last 8 years can help others? I pray that it will...and I pray that earnest prayers, from many prayer warriors to reclaim those that have strayed from God will bring movement in many hearts... some of stone and some that are broken... and repair to many homes on the verge of collapse.
Speak life into these marriages. Turn hearts away from fraudulent partners and back to those to whom vows of fidelity were made. Give this husband or wife a rock solid understanding of what he/she is dealing with. This is not a battle with people who influence, other women or other men; it is one against spiritual wickedness among powers and principalities in high places...there is oppression operating against this wife or husband from these powers and principalities to turn their free will against God. They may not recognize it, but as I pray, this is what I am led to say. For the husband or wife of one who has strayed, I pray that he/she understands that there can be no breakthrough until this spouse is right with God. It is not about them loving in an EROS way this spouse they have left behind or the person with whom they are currently involved. It is not about them returning to this marriage or staying in an unholy relationship...rather it is about their returning to a relationship with Christ. Unless and until they recognize that they are in opposition to the Lord...His will and His ways...there will be no change in the current outcome and in fact it may become worse. This fallen spouse believes that their actions are right...okay...in their sight. They believe it as strongly as the one who has been left behind and wants reconciliation believes. He/she has been convinced by this evil oppression that what he/she is doing is somehow justified. As long as this husband/wife who has been left continues the quest, even in prayer for EROS love as their focus...there will be no change in the behavior of the other. By definition EROS love is that which is fueled by selfish desire...we want those we love to love us back, to share intimacy with us and us only...and this is both natural and human and ultimately what God intends in the marriage relationship...but the need within the one that has strayed that will return HIM or HER to righteousness is for AGAPE love to return...loving themselves as God loves them, loving their spouses as God loves them also...continuance of marriage is NOT a condition for AGAPE love...nothing is...it is unconditional. When we pray in this circumstance...we can and should pray for the return of this straying partner to their marriage...but first things first, as our God does things decently and in order. Let us pray for a return of the straying spouse to God...to His principles, to reverence for Him. When we revere God we cannot go against his ways. The heart of stone that currently exists in the breast of the one who is unfaithful is because their conscience has been seared...and continuance of this is exactly what the enemy wants. Let us bombard heaven with prayers to bring the unfaithful ones back to Jesus...let us ask for them to see themselves through the eyes of Jesus...let us ask that they see how HIS spirit is grieved because of their actions, not our own grief...let us ask for them to see that they are throwing His love, His sacrifice out the window due to their own quest for EROs which can and will bring chaos and destruction into their lives and those in their families... as it already has. These unfaithful husbands and wives are beyond the reach of what their spouses want right now...they no longer care about it...they are deeply engaged in her their own selfish quests to have what THEY want. But they are not beyond the reach of God. Let us pray with all our might that those who have broken their vows fall in love with Jesus again! If they do...if they get back into God's order...the order of the decency of God...their free will can be directed again by the Lord of Hosts...and their return to their marriages, where they belong can again become possible. This I believe...and it is this I pray. In Jesus name...Amen!

Dear Havenly Father Thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven forgive us are sin as we for give are debtor and lead us not into temptiation but deliver us from evil Please answer this person prayer acord to your will and bless there life Lord and we give you all the priase honor and glory in all of this. I am in the same spiritual battle as you! I will join together with you that our spouses return to their FIRST love, Jesus! I am with you in trying to remain patient in the midst of this horrible trial! Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. I claim in the name of JESUS the Christ that our husbands will be broken before a Holy God and will see that they have left the truth! May nothing allow Satan continue his stronghold on these men! May the Lord himself REMOVE Satan from our marriage and families and restore them to HIS righteousness! In the Name of Jesus, I pray believing in agreement with you dear one, Amen.

Father, give this woman peace and comfort as she prays for the return of her husband. Help her realize that this is a battle of good vs evil. That her role is to pray for her husband, but let You do the work in convicting his heart. Help her see the role she has played in the breakdown of her marriage so she can ask forgiveness and pray for her marriage with a clean heart.
Lord, If we seek You with a clean heart, You have promised that You will answer our prayers according to Your will. Help this woman to grow closer to You, to trust in You, and to seek Your face in everything that she does.
Lord Jesus, May You remove all evil from this marriage, bless this couple, and restore their union better than what it was before. May they continually seek to glorify You. AMEN

I just want to share with you what I have gone through. It may help you to stay strong knowing that things do workout for those who trust in God. I know just what you are feeling. My husband is back now almost a yr. He was in an adulterous relationship with his oldest son's mother. They were never married but did have a son 24 yrs ago.
All I can say is God is faithful. I experienced so much pain because my husband is my best friend. One day he was gone, he had moved all his stuff when I was at work. We didn't have an argument or anything. I came home to a note that said he loved me but had to leave. Satan is very busy trying to destroy marriages. He knows that 2 in the Lord is stronger than 1. My husband is a christian and a recovering alcoholic/addict. He was sober for almost 17 yrs and had picked up drinking when all this started. I can't tell you how hopeless I felt but I just held on to God by strings. I contacted every prayer site I could find and asked people to pray for my marriage. God is not a liar. I also went through problems with my teenager.We are still going through with him. He wanted to kill himself etc. I had to hospitalize him while all this was happening and also I had to move back with my parents who didn;t want me to stay there. I paid them while I was there for 6 months. My automobile died and I felt so alone. I am telling you this because God is faithful. Pray for the holy spirit to convict your husband of his adultery. Pray for him and for the other person involved. I am still praying for God to remove those ill feelings towards the other woman because they are still there and I know God does not want me to hold any unforgiveness in my heart. This woman was always in the wings for 16 years planting seeds of discord. She says she is a christian. She told my husband God brought him to her. We have to stand on God's word. God doesn;t change his word for our convenience. That;s all I could do was cry out to him. The devil doesn’t stop but I know what God has put together nothing can tear it apart. The devil is still attacking my family through my son. I bind that spirit of hopelessness and suicide in the mighty name of Jesus. Please keep our family in prayer also. It seems like when I share about how God has put my family back together, then all you know what breaks loose. I know the devil is a liar and God will keep my family together and we will serve him and be happy and love each other. We war not against flesh and blood but against powers principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places. I started quoting scripture at the devil and also telling God what he said in his word. It helped to get it in my spirit. I will pray for you because I know too well what you are going through. God bless you and hold on to GOd's word because his word is truth and his grace is sufficient.
