During my pregnancy, I was told by two "specialists" I had a 40% chance that our son would be born alive. After over 30 ultrasounds, a trip to the Mayo Clinic and weekly biophysicals, I joyfully welcomed my 10 pound baby Charlie. Being so big, he was slow to crawl and we tested for and received Early Intervention from the state. Two weeks ago, he started walking. Now the Early Intervention therapist is concerned he may be exhibiting some signs of autism. Charlie and I have been through so much and I am praying this is just another developmental delay, not autism. Please pray for him to overcome this latest hurdle and for me to stop obsessing over this. My relationship with my husband is suffering as a result of me being so upset and constantly being pessimistic. Please, please pray for us.

Father...bind up the fear in this woman's heart that she may be a wife to her husband as well as a mother to her son. What will worry do for the circumstance...will it add a day to her life, a moment of happiness to her family? Your word teaches we should be anxious for nothing...and should wait on the Lord and be of good courage. Father...that Charlie be free from Autism I pray, that he be slightly developmentally delayed. But if he is not...I PLEAD that this mother and father will find favor in your sight in the way they handle the outcome...that they pray with one another...and help each other with the care and education of their child. That they pull together in this issue and any other that they may encounter in their marriage. We sometimes cannot control the storm...but we can control how we go through it! Please help this couple to go through this storm hand in hand in agreement, and with their eyes firmly on you! May God richly bless them...In Jesus name...Amen!

I pray that Your will to be done in their lives.
You are the King of kings and Your Name is Wonderful.
