Please pray for my husband - Paula - 07-21-2010 08:58 PM There are so many trials in my life over the last several years, that I am praying for the most heart wrenching. First of all I am so grateful for my families overall good health and for the blessings that we receive daily. I need prayer for my husband who desires to walk with God, but who has a difficult time believing our Lord could save a wretch like him. He suffers with a long list of mh concerns as well as d&a issues, and it has done some ugly damage to our family in nearly every way imaginable. I'm having a hard time hanging in there with any optimism. I am heartbroken and resentful. I cry all the time. Which is new. I am at a point where it's all coming to a head and my tolerance is nil. Thank you Paula RE: Please pray for my husband - Guest - 07-21-2010 09:13 PM Paula, If your husband is struggling with danda problems, then I might suggest to you Reformer's Unanimous. It is an establishment in Rockford Ill, which is based upon additions issues. However, it is a great bible study program that may help your husband to overcome his addictions once and for all. They have a website, which I think you should be able to locate easily using google. You may suggest going with him and both of you can grow in the Lord. ![]() Hope that helps. Dear Lord, Father, I pray for Paula, that you would comfort her during this time. I pray that you would give her peace and comfort in knowing that you can make a way where there is no way and make the impossible possible. Lord, I pray that you would heal her broken heart in this time and while you are comforting her, I ask that you would intervene in her situation. Please, Father, reach out to her husband and show him Your will in his life. Invite him to follow You, just as Christ did with each of the disciples. Reveal to him Your will and what you would have him to do. In Christ name I pray. Amen. RE: Please pray for my husband - stevendanielsen - 07-21-2010 10:24 PM Dear Havenly Father Please answer this person prayer acord to your will and bless there life Lord. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY AMEN. RE: Please pray for my husband - adoring1 - 07-22-2010 06:22 AM Father, please help this family. Lead Paula to those that can provide some support for her. Al-Anon, Adult Children of Alcoholics or some such group that can help her to cope with this issue and any children that may be in the home. Father deal with this husband please. I do not pray for protection for him because in my heart I feel that he needs to be humbled to the point where he has no where else to turn but you. Rather I pray that you would convict his heart to get help Father...to stop the destruction before as your word says you lay down his body to save his soul. Help this man to see that forgiveness is available but repentence is required. Lead this man to those who can provide him medical support, spiritual leadership and anything else that is necessary...but in your mercy save this man. We plead in the name of Jesus... Amen! RE: Please pray for my husband - Dawn1 - 04-21-2012 05:26 AM "TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS" (PROVERBS 3:5-6). RE: Please pray for my husband - Angelus - 04-21-2012 06:29 AM Lord, inspire those men and women who bear the titles "Husband" and "Wife". Help them to look to You to themselves to one another to rediscover the fullness and mystery they once felt in their union. Let them be honest enough to ask: "Where have we been together and where are we going? Let them be brave enough to question: "How have we failed?" Let each be foolhardy enough to say: "For me, we come first". Help them, together to reexamine their commitment in the light of Your love, willingly, openly, compassionately. One Hail Mary... Hail, O Virgin of Guadalupe. We place under your powerful patronage the purity and integrity of the Holy Faith in Heaven and Earth for we are certain that while you are recognized as Queen and Mother, our Matrimony will be saved... O God, grant us this prayer for husband and wife through your son Jesus Christ our Lord, - Amen |
