Please pray for my husband to know the Lord - Guest - 07-13-2010 09:23 PM
My husband Ray and I were not saved before we were married and had children. Since then, the Lord actively pursued me and I accepted him into my heart several years ago. I have tried to get my husband to know and love the Lord, but so far it hasn't happened. I desperately need my husband to step up and be the spiritual head of our household, not only for his sake, but for our children as well. Please pray that the Lord will knock on the door of Ray's heart and that he will open and be the man I believe God wants him to become. Thank you all so much-may God bless you!

Lord, give Ray a heart to know you. Draw him to your self. Train him and teach him to be a man of God, the spiritual leader of his family and on fire with love for you Lord. In Jesus name I pray.

Lord, please convict Ray's heart. I pray he will want the relationship his wife has with You. Surround him by Christians. Let them and his wife be a great witness for You. Lord, I pray that their children have or will accept You as their Savior. Please knock upon Ray's heart. Let him have no peace until he accepts You. In this I ask in Your name,Jesus.Amen.

Lord,
This is your man and only you can bring him unto yourself. We ask that you do so. We also ask special blessings for his wife. She does not ask for anything for herself...just for his salvation. What a wonderful and selfless prayer. Please in your mercy and loving kindness grant her petition of prayer!

Lord it is your desire that all may come to the knowledge of Christ. I pray for Ray that he will open his heart to you as you stand knocking on the door of his heart. Lord Jesus soften his heart of stone and turn it into a heart of flesh. Jesus I pray that his wife will not tire of doing what is good because in due season she will reap a blessing from you. May she stand and be strong and live a life that is pure and that shows reverence to your Name because you promise in your Word that her husband could be won over to you Lord if he sees a good conduct in her life. Give her a gentle and quiet spirit that the godly women from old used to possess and adornened themselves with. May she put all her hope in you Jesus so that she does not have any fear or enxiety in her heart like those women from old. 1Peter 3:1-6.
