My husband is having divorce papers served to me next week. He believes that divorce is the only solution for him to find his own happiness. As long as I am in his life he will not be happy.
I've done all I can to ask him to give us another chance. Unfortunately, I didn't see the signs and listen to and comprehend the words until it was too late. I didn't realize the awful person I had become until it was too late. Now there is too much heartache and unhappiness that dwells within my husband's heart, mind, body and soul for him to want to return to me and try. Someday I hope:
My husband can forgive me for causing him to believe that I'm the root of his unhappiness and as long as I'm in his life he will continue to be unhappy.
He can forgive me for failing and disappointing him.
He can forgive me for not thinking and participating more in an "us" relationship.
He can forgive me for not taking better care of him and loving him the way he deserves.
He will want to be friends with me again so that we start anew and see where God takes us.
Please pray with me as I ask God to help my husband to forgive me and open up his heart to me again. I pray that God will give me the strength and comfort to get through this difficult time. I pray that God will give me another chance to have a companion, hopefully my husband, to love and to cherish if I deserve it. I pray that God will stop this divorce and bring my husband and I back together again if it is in his plan. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, we just pray your will be done here. I know you have a plan for this marriage. First of all Lord, I pray for my friend here, give her wisdom and lay it on her heart, somehow show her and guide her so she knows what to do in this situation. I pray that the forgiveness will take place here for all. I pray for the Husband Lord, that he will seek you for wisdom in this too. I pray that he will place his faith and trust in you alone. Father, heal this marraige if that is accrording to your will. We Thank you.......we pray with Thanksgiving and Praise. In Jesus name Amen.

Lord, like the movie fireproof I pray that you would fireproof this marriage. I pray that forgiveness will rule in each ones heart and take rook and hold of them. I pray that this marriage will survive the test of time and struggling. Give them both new hope and renewed strength. I pray that they will seek your will for marriage and remember that you said that you hate divorce. Give them the grace to hold on and not let go. Let the joy of the Lord be their strength. Let them seek their joy in you and not to play the blamming game. Let this woman stand firm and hold fast to your word and give her peace. Take control of this Lord, I give it to you as I am sure she does too. In Jesus name I pray.
