I'm so ashamed that I masturbated again last night after 4 months of abstinence. The physical desire was so strong and the relief felt so good. I know that I need to retrain my brain. I really want to be pure in my singlness, at the same time I'm praying so hard to eventually meet the man the Lord has preordained for my life. Please pray with me that I may be ready to meet him very soon!

Lord bless this person, please take away ALL desire for physical gratification, please let every ounce of his/her longing be for you instead! Help this child of you understand that it is not by his/her own power, but by yours, and help them to completely relinquish all control over this problem from themselves to you. Bless Single72, Lord.
