JOB THAT WE HAD PRAYED FOR IS NOT COMING THROUGH RIGHT NOW - Guest - 03-24-2010 12:55 PM
I asked for prayer for my husband Mike about a week ago and that he would get a job that he applied for as a law enforcement officer at my place of employment. He is currently a personal trainer and makes very little money and has lost alot of clients due to the econonmy and the gym takes most of his paycheck. He has no retirement or benefits so this other job would have created those things in addition to the fact that we would have a check coming in every two weeks. Currently, I never know when he will get paid and this month has been especially difficult b/c a few of his clients have not been coming and he has not been paid. I am depleting our tax return which is our only savings to pay bills. I am so scared b/c we have two young children and have no security net. He got a call about sthe job soon after I posted my prayer request and was told he would be starting April 19th. We were so happy and relieved. Well, the state budget came out a few days after and it was not good news. President Obama can say we are out of a recession but that is not true at all! Anyway, I found out today that due to the budget, they cannot hire Mike at this time and they have no idea when they will be able to. This is just so depressing and stressful for both of us. Please pray for us to be ok financially and that this job will come through sooner then later. Our family needs this so badly. Thank you!
