Dear Lord, I am praying now for those who are enduring great hardship and pain in their lives. Although they are struggling to stand in their faith, they have become weary and need a touch from you. I pray that you will give them a very real sense of your presence in all that they are going through. I pray that you will fill them with your peace and will open their eyes to know that you are with them despite the fierce storm that is all around them. Help them to continue to walk in trust knowing that you will never fail them and that your divine purpose in their lives cannot be stopped by the enemy of this world. Amen.

Once when I had lost everything and the way seemed total darkness God gave me a dream. I saw His hands cupped over me. That's why I was in darkness--not a chink of light could get through. I realised NO one cd get at me except through His hands! He was perfectly protecting me: He would let through some, but not others. This far and no further. Then His hands slowly opened and inside was gleaming gold.
"When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold."
Someone had prophesied over me that God saw me as pure sterling silver. That was nice, but I told God, "I don't want to be silver--I want to be gold!" Be careful what you pray for. Gold is only tested in the fire.
