RE: Prayer for my husband and I - Nicole72 - 11-15-2011 10:44 AM Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your prayers. I will be going to the neurology appt. in about an hour. I need the peace of the Lord to go with me, and, I pray for physical, emotional, and psychological healing and deliverance. Thank you, all, for your prayer support. Nicole RE: Prayer for my husband and I - Nicole72 - 11-15-2011 02:45 PM Thanks, for much, for your prayers. God has again provided. I saw the neurologist and she saw nothing that she felt needed to be further examined or pursued, no need for even an MRI. So, that is another relief. So, I am preparing for the removal of the dental implants on Friday and trying to rest in Jesus and let Him take care of me. RE: Prayer for my husband and I - ShootingStar - 11-15-2011 04:39 PM Thank you Lord for your wonderful blessings! Praise the Lord! Praying with you and john, that all goes well Friday and the stress will go away soon. RE: Prayer for my husband and I - Nicole72 - 11-15-2011 04:43 PM Thank you, ShootingStar. I am thankful for the support and encouragement I have here. I feel like the paralytic whose friends took him to Jesus and lowered him down through the roof so that the Lord could heal him. My faith feels small and feeble. But, the faith of others praying my husband and I through are carrying us. RE: Prayer for my husband and I - adoring1 - 11-15-2011 08:36 PM Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ for your mercy and your goodness. Thank you that you will be with Nicole all the way through this difficult time. You are our God, our friend as well as our physician. We bless your name reverently for all that you are doing for Nicole! In your name precious Savior...Amen! RE: Prayer for my husband and I - JW123 - 11-15-2011 11:39 PM Thank you Lord Jesus. I pray that YOU will open the way for Nicole to experience FULL healing and wholeness again. AMEN. RE: Prayer for my husband and I - Nicole72 - 11-30-2011 10:12 AM Hello Brothers and Sisters, I wanted to give you all an update. On Friday, Nov. 18 I had the dental implants removed. The procedure went pretty well. The surgeon was able to remove them without cutting them out, he only needed to screw them out. During the procedure, because the implants were slightly resting in the sinuses, the sinus membrane was torn. So, to prevent infection I was put on 10 days of antibiotics which I have finished now. Please, pray for continued smooth and complete healing of my mouth and sinuses with no complication. Also, please pray for the symptoms which I've had for about the last 5 months to subside quickly. It's so hard to keep from being discouraged with the amount of depression and anxiety that I've experienced. But, the Lord is showing me that this is a time when He is teaching me to focus and lean on Him, not my own understanding. He has also repeatedly spoken to me through the words through other brothers and sisters that He is going to use this time as a future ministry for my husband and I, for His glory. He will heal me, but, it is a slower process than I would want. I get so discouraged and sad, I cry every day, sometimes several times in one day, but, the Lord is providing and sending little victories along the way. My husbands job situation is improving. He is feeling less harassed and pressured. It is still a battle, but, things are getting better and my husband is encouraged. Thank you, all, for your prayers. We are being carried by the prayers lifted up for us to our Father. I have a little bit of pain and redness on one side of my mouth where one of the dental implants was removed. I don't want there to be any complications or infection, and, it would be best if I didn't need to take any additional antibiotics as I tend to have bad reactions to medications. I have a follow-up dental appointment on Monday, and, we will be going on vacation for 10 days a week from then. So, I'm praying for smooth and full healing, in every part of my body and mind. Thank you for all of your prayers. I am very thankful. Nicole |
