You also have to start reading the bible and let it be your daily vitamins so you can grow strong spiritually in the Lord. Join a good bible study, which they give in many churches. This way you can ask questions and it makes it easier for you to understand the bible better. It also becomes alive and you won't find it boring like some do when they can't comprehend it.
Lord touch this person's heart to accept you as their Lord and Savior, and eyes to understand your word. This person is crying out to you so please direct their steps to the right path. Give them wisdom, strength, and peace as they feel your loving touch in their life. I pray this in Jesus name, amen.

Since you seem to like television then watch some good programs like TNB and many others where they teach you how to be a good Christian and how to resist temptation. It your decision on how you want to live your life for God always gives us a free will. You can use the television for good or evil so use it to educate yourself spiritually in combination of reading the bible and praying. May God Bless and guide you to the right path.
