Hi Cindy, Thank you so much for your prayers. I am praying for you as well. I've been a little under the weather and I've still got a lot on my mind but I am looking forward to my new job! I am a Hospice volunteer at the nursing home and most of the patients are bedridden. I love it there but this new company works with seniors who are more active and I will be doing outings and tours with them so that excites me. The Administrator started out as a food server seven years ago so there is room for growth in the company. They have about 200 properties nationwide. I met one lady named Rose when I arrived ridiculously early for the orientation. We began to chat and she told me that I was one beautiful woman and she could just tell that I was "so different than other employees she encounter both on the inside and out and things about how she could just tell I was good. When we were speaking, I believed she could feel my spirit and I just knew I was on the right path! Such a far cry from the politics and corporate world I have been trapped in most of my adult life. It made me feel good and I left smiling! Although I haven't been on the board, I have been praying for you! I know times are rough right now but you are good and strong and God loves you very much! You can do it and God is right by your side and will carry you when you fall. This I know as I've fallen on my face many times. Sometimes the valleys we tread through are so lonely and scary and it seems to take a lifetime to get back up but we always come back to the mountaintop - bigger, brighter, and better! Cheryl, God is awesome and am posting here, as I want you to pray for me too. I know what God was trying to tell me this morning with the jump songs, that it is time to jump and be free . He send me a beautiful deer this afternoon that jumped so close to me and I know it was a direct sign today, after our message at Church too. I also want you to pray for me, as I worked in Activities in a Nursing Home, and I really loved my job and let it broke my heart, that I had to give it up. It was like I lost a whole family. I am looking for a job and applied at two Nursing Homes, please pray , if this is Gods will, I can get back into it. My former, whatever I should call him, I have no idea, for honestly, I do not want to call him my husband anymore, has done some very awful things, that might hinder my own dreams. Above all else, just pray that I can get a job and be where God wants me to be, as I am more then ready to jump, ha, ha. Hugs and I know you are going to love working at the nursing home, as it was the best job I ever had. Our elders have so much to teach us all. Know my prayers are with you always. |

Hi Cheryl, I have been thinking of you and praying for you. Yes, Music is very powerful. Today on the way to Church the first song I heard, was might as well Jump, ha, ha, not sure who sings it and know that is not the title, but got into Church and the first song was Jump, ha, ha, and all the kids were brought up to Jump, ha, ha. God is good. I pray for lots of joy and laughter for you in your new job and Gods hand on your health issues. As I said, I have been praying for you and will continue to do so dear friend.
