Scripture reading; Proverbs 18:24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. God uses friendship as an instrument of sanctification. It is important that all Christians carefully choose their friends. In the past I used to have trouble choosing friends and I’ll tell you from experience friends can either bring you up in life or bring you down.Friendship is by choice, its not by force. Wise Christian friends will build you up, help you, and bring wisdom. A bad friend will lead you to sin, encourage ungodly traits, and would rather see you fall than do good in life.Being a loving and forgiving Christian doesn’t mean that you are to hang around with bad friends who bring peer pressure in your life.Sometimes you have to know when friendship with another person is leading you away from the Lord. In this case, you must choose Christ or that friend. The answer is always going to be Christ. Just like a good parent tries to remove negative influences from their child’s life, God will remove bad influences from our life and replace them with godly friends.Ask God for wisdom when choosing friends in your life and remember bad company ruins good morals so choose your friends wisely. Pray with me. The bible is our manual for living, as believers we must have a good understanding of friendship in the bible in order for benefit from our relationship with others. For instance the bible admonishes us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. So when choosing your friends, you don’t have any business making friends with unbelievers. That doesn’t mean you won’t respect them or show them love, but it means you won’t tag along with them and do what they do. The teaches us to hate sin, but to love sinners, to hate evil, but to show love to evil doers when we have the opportunity. These bible verses about friendship will show us the mind of God concerning friendship and our friends. As you study these bible verses today, I see God opening your eyes and directing you in your relationship life in Jesus name.I prophesy to you, You're at the verge of a major life changing BREAKTHROUGH. Please to all my followers take note.Not all deliverances are going to produce a manifestation. Many times they manifest in a mild fashion (yawn, burp, cough, body twitch, shaking, an evil look in their eyes, etc.) while other times they manifest by screaming or even a violent manifestation where the person must be held down. I do not require a manifestation in order to claim victory, but I like to at very least have the person tell me that they felt a release. Can I hear someone say Amen!. |
