Scripture reading: Genesis 29:15-21 Common English Bible (CEB)15 Laban said to Jacob, “You shouldn’t have to work for free just because you are my relative. Tell me what you would like to be paid.” Message...Today we are examining the life of Jacob. After deceiving his brother Esau and having taken his blessings as given him by their blind father Isaac, he fled to be and work with his uncle Laban (Read the whole of Genesis Chapter 27 ). Jacob intended to work for seven years as payment only to marry Rachel. But after the seven years he was dubed to marry Leah, Rachel's eldest sister (Read Genesis 29:15-21). Because he loved Rachel more he decided to work for another seven year just to marry the woman of his choice, making a total of fourteen years. In addition to this he worked again for six years so that he could be given his own share of the cattle, sheep or goats. But despite all this, when he was supposed to be officially settled so that he could depart, Jacob sensed that his father inlaw would not allow him to go free, because he was enjoying his services and exploiting him. Jacob decided to run away for his life, taking along his wives and cattles that were due him. According to our text, Laban mistreated and exploited Jacob as follows: (1) Though Jacob cared for the sheep, he never ever ate even one sheep. (2)When the animals were attacked and killed by wild animals it was counted as looses to Jacob. (3) Laban demanded payment for any missing animal. He didn't care what happened (4) Jacob worked day and night under the sun and heat. Was treated like a slave with no mercy or compassion. (5) He deceived him to marry the woman he did not want and ended up spending 20 years slaving for Laban. Pray with me. God, you are a God of miracles. You are a healer, restorer, life-giver. We know you can bring life, purpose, and joy back to people who have had the years stolen away by slavery. Father, we ask that you would enter into their lives through other people, through your word, through opportunities, and through peace to enable healing. Jesus! Please provide freedom to the captives. Please provide freedom for these victims and provide arms waiting to help restore them. Raise up an army of people willing to take action in a variety of different forms so that an end can come to the evil of slavery. Amen Positive divine DECLARATION. You cannot be working and others are enjoying the fruits of your labour. As your spiritual Father in the LORD, I prophesy that you are recovering this season all that you have been slaving and labouring for in your life, receive it in the name of Jesus Christ.I prophesy that Any powers that say you should not enjoy your marriage,you should swim in financial difficulties, and you should suffer with that health crisis.In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare every legal hold and every legal ground of the enemy broken, disarmed, and destroyed.Satan has no hold over me now.From today henceforth you're free from any bondage/ slavery. Please to all my followers take note.Not all deliverances are going to produce a manifestation. Many times they manifest in a mild fashion (yawn, burp, cough, body twitch, shaking, an evil look in their eyes, etc.) while other times they manifest by screaming or even a violent manifestation where the person must be held down. I do not require a manifestation in order to claim victory, but I like to at very least have the person tell me that they felt a release. Can I hear someone say Amen!. |
