| I have a friend for thirty six years, she was living in the Florida in a nice condo, but her oldest daughter talked her into selling it, and to move closer to her in the north midwest. She promised she will help her to resettle, but after her mother sold the condo, car, and bought a studio condo near her daughter, her daughter didn't kept her word. She took control of her mother's money and won't let her buy a car so she could go to church, do her food shopping, dentist, and doctor's appointment. she stayed near her daughter for about four yrs. Now the last time I called her to see how she was doing, she was in a rush and didn't tell me much. Other than she was moving back to Florida with a friend she has made, to share an apartment with her. My friend is in her late eighties. She told me, she will contact me when she reached Florida, that was back in mid July, and no word from her. I tried her cell and line phone numbers, but got a message telling me both were no longer in service. I tried one of her daughters who I had her phone number, and her phone number belongs to someone else now. Now I don't know how to contact any of her four children which are all in different states. Since then there was that bad hurricane in Florida and floods, they were driving to Florida as soon as she hanged up talking to me. I am very concerned for her safety for she sounded kind of strange when I called like she couldn't talk much. She did tell me she was moving far away from her daughter because they wanted to put her in a nursing home against her wishes. So please lift up my friend Marisa J in your prayers for her safety, and that wherever she is she may remember to give me a call, I hope she took my phone number and address with her, for she sounded a little nervous and rushed. She loves God and had been my prayer partner for all the years I have known her. May God bless all of you who say a prayer for her, and thank you in advance. |
