| Noise and fumes in car Monday. I hit or drove over something last week I heard loud thud but didn't see anything so maybhat's cause of both issues or just fumes. Rumbling sound front of car could be something over time? I'm no mechanic so I don't know what I'm talking about but had car since march 2017 and once in a blue moon when I drive over something like snow etc I feel some vibration or pedals drop a little for a brief moment, don't know if that's normal or has anything to do with today's car problems? Don't smell fumes when driving to mechanic today but car not driven Tuesday or Wednesday and so far no engine light on now or Monday, someone asked me if it came on. Not sure if liquid under car. I was a nervous wreck driving here, scared. I only have about $140 in purse, $113 for groceries and 27 for gas and diagnostic test will cost about $11 so $119 and odds of repairs costing that is very low, parts alone or labor cost more, lol. I'm unemployed and my estranged husband told me to come here and the "go from there" he may help pay or maybe do repairs if its something easy, he's no mechanic. He's done some break work and I think he put new radiator on his truck so I don't know what he can do but he's busy, its getting cold out and he may not have money to spare. plus his girlfriend may not help matters. My kids need rides. We go grocery shopping too. Cars need food soon etc etc. I have to drive home no matter what outcome is with car because I'm fairly certain damage is more probably a lot than what's in my purse and I'm scared and stomach in knots. I wanted to cry so bad past 2 days but my mom lives with me and kids and in my house you can hear everything. Now I'm trying not to cry and look like some crazy person. Please pray that the cost isn't high and I make it home safely and low traffic or no traffic on road this morning and nothing bad happens like fire, steam, explosion, tire flat or if ball joint problem the tire doesn't fall off . I think brakes are good but prayers that no brakes going. Help! Sorry to keep posting and being a pest hope my faith in God d gets stronger. Please make me stronger. Prayers my kids get ride home f ROM dad or his girlfriend, he works at 5 pm toll around 2 am today and girlfriend's daughter uses their other vehicle to go to school today. His girlfriend isn't always helpful. |
