If it's up to you, then you can change it, which is good news. I think the best thing is to fight against that feeling--I have had times in my life where I didn't want to go out or interact with anyone. However, you have to push yourself where you're not comfortable. Perhaps, if your church has a witnessing program, like door-knocking or soul-winning, you should go to that. You're being a witness to others while mingling with some new church folk. Also, if your church has any get together's or events, you could go and start putting yourself out there. Go to others who may be in small groups or who are off to themselves. They probably feel the same way you do. Talk about the bible, or what devotions you're going through--these are easy topics and you may learn a thing or two, while coming out of your shell. If I were you, I pray for the Lord to send me good godly friends--I did this before going off to college and the Lord sent me friends who were saved, and those who are lost are seeking the truth. I believe my friends will be saved and they've all been good, blessed friendships.

I don't know if that helps, but it should at least get you started. Hope you are able to make the changes in your life that you need to.
