Lord Jesus, please help us to put to death any pride in us. If we are to boast we are to boast about YOU.

NEBUCHADNEZZAR TOOK HIS EYES OFF GOD AND BEGAN TO FOCUS ON HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS. FORGETTING WHO HAD MADE HIM GREAT, THE KING LOST TOUCH WITH REALITY AND DENIED TRITH, THINKING HE WAS SELF-MADE MAN WHO NEEDED NO ONE.

NEBUCHADNEZZAR DID NOT WANT TO GIVE GOD ANY OF THE GLORY OR THANKS FOR THE GROWTH AND MAJESTY OF THE KINGDOM. HE FELT THAT EVERYTHING HE OWNED BELONGED TO HIM BECAUSE HE HAD WORKED FOR IT .

"PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION, AND A HAUGHTY SPIRIT BEFORE A FALL" (PROVERBS 16:18).

FATHER GOD, KEEP OUR EYE FIXED ON YOU. LET US NOT FORFET WHERE YOU HAVE BROUGHT US FROM. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY. AMEN. LET US PRAYER FOR ONE ANOTHER. HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
