Father, prepare havemercylord for baptism. Open his heart and help him to yield to your will. Father...please ease his fear and replace it with faith in your word and belief in your power. In Jesus name...Amen!

I am getting baptized, probably next month (October). I want this very much indeed but am very nervous. Please pray that the Lord will prepare me thoroughly for my baptism so I will be ready and acceptable to Him on this day. I am also very nervous about the life that will come after the baptism, a bit scared of what it might bring in tests and challenges. Please pray that the Lord will ease my fears and that I will be able to live up to His good name when I have been blessed with my baptism.
