Father, help this your son to know that you are God...let him be still and listen. Let him understand that prayer is not answered because of our faith...but because of your will and your mercy. The faith is necessary from the simple perspective that we believe in You...if we do not...if we doubt your existence why would You answer us? Father...help this man to understand what faith is... "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) You ask for God or Jesus to prove himself to you...but HE asks that you believe in HIM even though you do not see him. Which requirement do you think has more power? The one from the Creator or one from we ourselves...who are merely mortal made from dust and only at God's command. God will not be coerced...he will not answer to demands. If you want to know Him, you first have to believe that He is...he will not engage in your feelings...he gave you feelings to navigate the earth...and therefore feelings are useless to us in the realm of the Spirit. So how, you might ask, do you know that God is real? When you have searched high and low for solace...you have tried many things to find satisfaction in your life... lust for woman, work, money, alcohol, drugs, toys, hobbies, TV...but still feel empty...then you know that something is missing...and so IF you choose to believe HE is...IF you choose to accept, because his word says so that His Son Jesus lived, died, and rose again that all men might be saved...then you are saved with the rest of believers. And IF no matter what storm you are going through...you continue to believe...then and only then can HE work in your life. It will not be some magical feeling or magical thing that transforms you...it requires that you work with HIM. That when lustful thoughts come...you apply his word to it...for example..."get thee behind me Satan"... and when the thoughts come again...you apply HIS words again, this is how the Father develops self control within us...this is the meaning of a Christian fighting a battle. But again you must believe that HE is...and that HIS word has power...if you do not it will not because YOU CHOSE NOT to believe. God is not a cosmic bellhop that we can tell what to do or demand that He give or do things for us. While He is a mighty God...he is also gracious and will sit and wait to invited in with FAITH to act in our lives. While He will be grieved at your loss of heaven if you choose not to believe...He will go right on being God and blessing others that do. Father...that this friend may understand that YOU our God owe us no proof that YOU are...that You did that long ago and recorded it for posterity in the Holy Bible with the coming of Your Son...and His death and resurrection for us, I pray. We are the ones that have something to prove...that WE BELIEVE He is so that he has permission to work in our lives. I pray that this man will consider these things...and will choose to believe...for if He does...he chooses life and chooses to see your blessings in the days and years ahead. If he does not, he only has himself and his stubbornness to hold accountable for his fate. In Jesus name...Amen! |

Lord, your son, Phil, is in a dark place now but it won't be for long. Please deliver him from the depths of darkness and bring him into the kingdom of your dear son, Jesus Christ. Lord, I thank and praise you that the Holy Spirit is our most powerful counsellor. Please send your wonderful counsellors (pastors, christian friends and family members, prayer partners, teachers etc) into Phil's life and to bring him into salvation and finally work it out for real. All things are possible with you, Lord. Praise the Lord! For we are all new creatures in Jesus Christ. You know his every sleepless night, his guilt and sufferings. But praise God! Old things have passed away and all things are renewed by his blood that made all of us whole! I pray that all spoilt virtues and toxic matter in his life is thrown away into the cross, in Jesus' name! Therefore, Phil will walk in the newness of life that you, Lord, has paid for us when you sacrificed yourself on the cross. Going forth, I pray that Phil will be well balanced and watch out for spiritual attacks and lies and deceptions from the enemy. At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow! So in Jesus' name, I reject, rebuke and bind this spirit of darkness of the enemy to completely let loose from Phil! He is free! By your grace, please help other christians going through the same sufferings as Phil. Lord, praise you! You are our Jehovah! Bless Phil to be filled with your wisdom and spiritual understanding in this journey into your kingdom of light and love. In Jesus' might name, amen! |

Hello, my name is Phil. I am in desperate need of prayer. I am 26 years old and really struggling through life right now. Spiritually I have no idea where I’m at. I feel that God really spoke to me about five years ago and in so doing saved my life. Since that day though I feel he has been very absent and quiet in my life. So much so that I just not sure I believe in him. I’m not sure I ever did. I here all the great testimonies and stories of God and Jesus about him changing the most unchangeable person or circumstance, I’ve heard so many stories of healing and miracle encounters with Christ. These stories tell me that maybe there is something there. However until I experience this for myself, I just cannot fully believe, trust, or love God. I’m really suffering right now, from depression, fear, very terrible lustful and depraved thoughts that I hate, and nothing in this world seems to truly satisfy or bring fulfillment. I feel so very lost and confused about who I am and who God is. I desperately need the truth on many issues. If Jesus is real, if he is who everyone claims him to be, and if he can truly change a person’s whole life then I desperately need him to do this for me. I have learned that this can only come when you ask Christ into your life, and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I have prayed this type of prayer many times and have meant it with as much sincerity as I can muster and there is never any change in who I am. This just makes me feel let down and abandoned by a God who is doing some many great things for some people but has completely forgotten about me. I just want him to prove himself. I have heard so many times that he wants to be close with us, and desires us to be happy and have peace and be filled with love. I desire this as well, so what is the problem? Everyone keeps telling me this God has a great destiny and purpose for my life, so why won’t he tell me what that is? Deep down I cannot see Jesus as anything but a fraud and a liar until he comes and proves me wrong. This is one last desperate attempt to find God. To experience his love, freedom, peace, and joy like so many others have claimed to. He is either real, or he is not. If he is real and everything he promised is real and if he is truly faithful, the time has come for him to prove this to me. I do not want to continue in life or take one more step until this God shows up for me in a way that I desperately need. My mind and thoughts torment me and I need a miracle. I’ve gotten so tired of praying that usually now I just curse God and yell at him. I need others to pray for me because I just can’t anymore. I am sending this email to many people throughout the country and the world. If God cannot answer the prayers of some of his most faithful servants, I will know that he either is not real, or just does not love me enough to give me the things that he promised those who seek him. Please pray that God will show up in a big way in my life. Thank you so much, Phil |
