Try tough love. You never have to give up on your son, you can always pray for him. But if you get help to deal with this head on, then you may be saving him from himself. One does not have to choose between, but choose for, his life. I would garner some professional help/ there are support groups too that are excellent where you can practice tough love in dealing with this. JESUS, Love us Similarly, He Expects us to behave certain ways, it is not a free ride, there are consequences for sin, it is a narrow path, however the benefits are huge (Heaven), there is much friendship along the way of true friends (Christian), and God Brings Order To our lives. Spare, "the rod, spoil the child." That refers to be firm, yet loving. Parenting is not easy, but always remember you are the parent, he is the child, & we are all children of God, that we continue learning & growing. I pray that you get the help you need, have some support groups that you will remain strong & in HIS WORD. It is an act of love, the discipline (& I believe the rod part is not about beating a child/ or young adult, this is wrong, but it is about discipline, being firm that they grow up!!!). LORD, that this family be healed, family tree healing, YOUR BLESSINGS POURED Upon them, that evil remain far from their home & Holy Warrior Angels Surround them. In Jesus' Name.
