Hi DD,
Thank you for your encouraging and comforting words! At times, we need to be reminded of the fact that God is there and he cares. Lately, I've been feeling miserable about my life and some of my problems but I thank you for reminding me that God cares, he is listening and he will take care of me. God Bless You!

I think God had you set down and write this so the one who know and slipped away will return, the ones in struggle won't, they will listen and understand your heart and his. I pray you will be blessed today. You have been thru alot and I guess been a little stuborn, well God loves you for your honesty, Amen

You are so blessed because you understand God's spiritual laws. You are so right on everything you've written. I agree with all your statements below. God bless you more and more for having ears to hear.

Amen and Amen! So true, it has worked for me too when I have given it all to God he has come through for me and healed my marriage after many years of me praying for him to do so. You have to be faithful for you can't pray for something and then do the apposite. How to get God's ear? No doubt you have heard said: "The Lord Helps Those Who Help Themselves".
Did you know that, this scripture is "not" found anywhere in the bible?
Did you know that, "that" (so called) scripture is totally contrary and against the teachings of Jesus Christ?
It is a "Man Made saying", made up, invented, so, Ignore it!
What problems are hanging over your head? What danger is at your front door? What calamity is waiting just around the corner? Is it enemies out to harm or destroy you? Is your marriage falling apart? Are you threatened with Divorce? Are you threatened with jail or prison? Bad health? Medical issues, Debt? Whatever it is, God "can" fix it! When you said: "Help me God", It may not feel like it yet, but you are exactly in the right place. Right where you need to be. Stay there if you want God to help you! I'm just a person like you, who several years ago cried out to God and to my surprise, he answered! To my further surprise, he then started dealing with my petitions, not to mention, enemies and those who were out to do me harm. I was surprised but happy. That was more than I even hoped and prayed for, but God didn't stop there. He started blessing me and prospering me. Frankly, It just blew me away, and it still does! Later I had to ask myself "What did I do so right, that God would step in and come to my rescue the way he did?". The answers became pretty obvious and I think I can tell you exactly how to do the same.
When I asked for God's Help, I was at a point in my life where nobody else could help me. I was down about as far as you could go. One of the things I learned was that sometimes God himself will put you there, because we are too stubborn for him to reach any other way. If you have reached the point where you have no where else to turn, there is a 99% chance that God is calling you! If it has not sunk in yet, that is an incredible honor! Think about it, If the president or a famous actor or rock star called you, you would be thrilled! Put in perspective, that is really nothing compared to God calling you! This is not only the time to pray and ask God, it is the time to listen.
First let me give you the quick and simple version in just 3 words. "PUT GOD FIRST". Sounds easy doesn't it? Trust me, It's not! However, once you truly do this, God will claim you as his own and God viciously protects and takes care of his own, just like any good father does when their children are in danger. Then, when you plead to God, he will not only listen, he will respond. The quickest example of this would be fasting! For instance, when you fast you are saying to God: "Lord, I am putting you above my most basic need to survive, food" or God, I am putting you first before my strongest desires, even sex. Matthew 4:4 - MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD. Fasting does not have to be strictly food. It is anything you might put before God. As far as sex or anything that involves your spouse, this should be a mutual agreement or the husbands decision. (period) If you are not married abstaining from sex is to acknowledge to God that you trust him to take care of all your needs in this area. He "will" send you the perfect spouse if you don't take things into your own hands! When you cry to God for help, step back and let him! We are human and the minute our problems seem to let up, we tend to tell God: Okay, step aside, I'll take it from here! That is not putting God first and you will quickly lose any blessing God started to give you. Be patient.
It is written numerous times in the bible to pray and ask God over and over again for what you need. Jesus even told parables telling us to be unrelenting when making a petition to God. The point is, don't just say "help me God", You say: "PLEASE" - "HELP ME GOD", "HELP ME GOD", "HELP ME GOD!" Be persistent. Keep asking, keep seeking and keep knocking.
Also, just Talking to God on a regular basis, is more important than you know. If God is real to you, "talk to him". If God is "not" real to you, or if you're not sure, then make him real to you by "talking to him". Would you ignore anyone else who is in the same room with you, or not talk to them? (think about it)
If you are doing anything that you feel is offensive to God, Stop it now! I am not talking about drinking or smoking, or any of the many other things we do, or do not do, to please other people. I am talking about the things you do and the way you think. Whether you drink or smoke, is not a scriptural matter. However, gossip, jealousy, hate, immorality, envy and similar things are highly significant to God. God cares about the things you say and do. The evil or revengeful plans you devise against your enemy could be your downfall and totally block Gods power from healing, protecting or blessing you. It does not matter whether your enemy deserves it or not. I'm sure they do, but leave revenge to God. What you don't realize is, once you develop this kind of heart out of love and respect for God, he will totally crush your enemies. He will crush your sickness, divorce, legal problem or any other adversary facing you.
I'll admit, it's hard to do, but I know it works. I did it! Trusting God is one of the few things I have ever been successful at in my life and it pulled all the other areas in my life together.
My final word to you is forget your problem and concentrate on God. I know, easy for me to say, but if you are at the point where you are pleading to God for help, then there is little "you" can do about it anyway. Let go of it! Give it to God Now! And let him take care of it. You will be glad you did.
