I want to take the time to thank everyone who posted in this thread and those who prayed silently. ![]() 1 Thessalonians 5 (Contemporary English Version) 16 Always be joyful 17 and never stop praying. 18 Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you to do. This is what God wants us to do. To keep praying joyfully for each other and wait for the answers to come, what ever happens while giving thanks to the Lord? ![]()

I think you are right, life is about waiting, ultimately on CHRIST'S RETURN & our salvation that we suffer no longer. As Christians, we do suffer, purified & over time. I agree, I am always with peace & happiness. No matter the cross I bare I know that in Heaven all is healed, no more, "pain or suffering." Maturing as a Christian I think one is more clearly shown the difference between light & darkness in the world. The Veil is lifted slowly, with Jesus, our purification eternal, true, love & light! I wait upon The Lord, clothed in The Armor of God, no harm can come upon me, that my soul belongs to GOD! AMEN! I like this post, thanks for the reminder! Trying to be joyful, all the while praying without ceasing for an answer to come. No matter what happens you keep thanking God for what you do have, because that is what God wants you to do. “Wait on Him patiently.” |

Come May 29 my dog got sick and passed away. So it makes me empty and sad with her no longer around. I know to some people it was just a dog. But to me she was part of my world at the time. I still miss her and I can’t bring her back, she is gone forever. Sometimes in life the things we want to come back to us may never happen. So we have to go on without them. Just cherish the time we spent with them and them with us. In your case there is always “hope”. In my case my dog Feisty will never come back again. Dear Lord I pray that the waiting will soon be over for JW and that you will bring C back to her in a better more fulfilling way according to your will and purpose in JW’s life. In Jesus Name, we pray.
