Lord help John the same way you helped us years ago. He seems to be going through the same thing we went through. Don't let him lose faith and lead him as to what to do. Help him financially and don't let them lose their home. Give him back ten times more than what he has given to you in the past. Lord you understand that there are times the only thing we can give is time and love as tithes. Receive his love for his family and his helping his family at this moment as tithes until he can afford to give monetary. You have all the richness in heaven and I know you are more interested in our commitment to you, than money. How many can give money but don't give love nor give happily? Take all the guilt that pastor is making him feel away from him. Give them the blessings they need at this time Lord and ease his mind. I ask and thank you in Jesus Precious Name and for your Glory Heavenly Father, Amen!

All I can say is to research the scriptures on tithing. I have been a regular tither for years. I can't say that it has always led to financial blessings, but I do it because I feel that I am supposed to. Ask God for wisdom in your finances. Make sure when you do give money that you are planting it in good soil. Father, I lift up John to you. I pray that you would provide seed to the sower. Give him wisdom in handling his finances. Show him what is meant for seed and what is meant for bread. I ask that you would just bless this family, and show them your abundance. In Jesus name. Now more than ever, Christians do need to be wise in their finances. We are experiencing tough times. This may lead up to the time of the mark of the beast, where a person cannot buy or sell without receiving the mark. There could be food shortages. Learning to trust God for our finances now, will help when times get even touch. JMO. Best wishes. |

| Like many people, I have financial needs. If I listed everything, this would be a really long email. But basically we've been assisting our son who's gone through financial trouble this year. We figured we had no right to ask for God's grace without setting a good example and extend it to our son ourselves. My income is being cut back now. We have way more bills than money and bankruptcy is not an option. I've had to explain to our kids that we're going to have to "explore other options" for Christmas. My wife is depressed very much. I'm not sure if my job is going to last the year. Having said that, I get word from some people (not our pastor) that if I don't have, it's because I am lacking in my tithing.. Whaaaa? I'm sorry, I guess that just rubs me the wrong way. I thought I wasn't under the law anymore? I give offerings at church (not every week) and I do support a mission in Haiti. But now I have a double shot of guilt because supposedly if I tithed more I'd be blessed more, and I just feel guilty for allowing our finances to get out of hand (I have made bad choices earlier this year) and I just worry. I couldn't pray much this morning, all I could spit out was to ask God to forgive me for worrying so much. There's got to be an answer! I'm tired of having a knot in my stomach. |
