Precious Jesus, I lift this child up to You. Draw him closer to You. Lord, I pray that he will live his life according to Your word. Always trusting and believing in You. I pray that he will be like the publican in the Parable of the publican and pharisee (Luke 18:9-14). The pharisee prayed to be seen by others and the publican prayed for God to have mercy on him the sinner. Lord, keep him strong. Give him understanding and wisdom to pray for himself and for others. I pray he will always be found serving You. In this I ask in Your name,Jesus.Amen.
