AMEN! I am SO glad you are going to give God Another chance, that you see eternal life! Try to remember in your heartache what the bible says about suffering. As a Christian you will suffer. If you can get ahold of a concordance, or a small bible, perhaps utilizing it, when you are depressed, word search the bible, to find comfort. In Heaven, there is a new order, the last will be first. Think about that. It is not the, "have's," of the world that we are to be jealous of or worried about fitting in with, it's our love for Christ Jesus, our walk as a Christian, the state of our soul. You can self employee right where you are, by reaching out to others in prayer, always giving thanks to GOD. You can make a huge difference in your life, in other's lives, when committing to CHRIST, as his servant. We are here to serve HIM & then we know True Riches. I will personally stay in defense of GOD, that it bothers me to hear others blame HIM. "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption."—Ephesians 4:30. What I do when I don't understand why things turn out as they do, I seek God For answers & I usually find them. That is the beauty of GOD. HE Is ALL. Thus when we are discouraged, hurt, & when we are happy & life is going smoothly, we give HIM THANKS. HE IS our ROCK. To hear you say you are giving God another chance, is WONDERFUL. If there is but one thing you do, during your days, pray. Give thanks to GOD. HE Works things out for HIS GLORY! In Heaven there is a new order. This life is in passing, there's no perfect here but GOD, & when this world passes away, the separating of the wheat from the chaff. Give thanks to GOD. HE Will never leave you. EVER. Light the fire of your soul with God's Eternal Light. Focus on Heaven, not this earth, it is in passing, there will be a new Heaven & a new earth. I am THRILLED you are giving THE LORD another chance. AMEN & AMEN!!! If you can, make this your work, that you are never unemployed, without something to do, your purpose defined, that you REJOICE & save souls. It is ETERNAL LIFE that we are working toward. God Bless you! ![]() iwant2know Wrote:Thank you all for your concerns and intentions. I have decided to give God a chance once again. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ and Father God for planting a desire in this woman's heart to fellowship with her Father. Reveal yourself to her in the fullness of your love. Thank you for the various views that have been shared about You, our relationship with You and our relationship with each other as Christians. While we have differences we are all one in the Body. Lead and guide this woman to the path that you have planned for her and to full healing and as you do Father...grant her the desires of her heart. Bless her richly on her journey and grant her love, joy and peace. In the precious name of your Son...our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...Amen! |

| Tania, God does not need us to defend him, he can defend himself. The father of lies has got you convienced that you are not worth it. You have no value and that God wouldn't want you. I know how you feel and can tell you that this God does love you for sure, done deal. Don't give up on yourself Tania, love will find a way. It is the greatest gift of all. God will continue to love you for eternity, no matter what. Love covers a multitude of sins, yours, mine, ours. Blessings Tania, you are valued, and were, and are worth the cross. Don't trust your feelings they will lie to you. Daily choose to trust Jesus. |

And two more things - #1 -no one will ever understand God fully. Even people who have known Him for the most of their lives will have some questions unanswered still and some "why, God?" ananswered. Through out all of this we still have a choice - to let it throw us or to hold on with all our might to the things we DO know about Him and His charachter and His promises. One has to be bigger than God to understand Him fully and to grasp all of His way..And there is no one bigger than God.He does not require understanding from us, He wants faith, and giving Him all we have, regardless how imperfect it is. #2 Joni Eareckson Tada wrote a book about her life and her journey with God. It wasn't always perfect and she had a long period when she was angry with God. You see, GOd can handle that - Tanja, be angry if you will and be honest with him about that - you can tell Him - God, i don;t understand and I am hurt and I am angry, here isw my heart, cleanse me and guide me, help my hurts and have Your way with me.. God wants us to be real with Him - that what relationship with Him is all about. he knows everything anyway and we cant fake it. Sin needs to be confessed and repented and feelings should be given over to Him...We can cry at His feet and He understands. He will comfort in most unexpected ways... SO back to Joni - she was paralysed from neck down when she was very young.. Al her life since then she lived paralysed.. and she claims God comforts Her and gives her joy - joy she shares with us, readers. Imagine her questions to Him, her journey.. Could it be that her life could be shared with you through her book? No ones struggles diminish our own, but sometimes journeys shared can point us in the right direction..? God bless you. |

I am totally with Mell here. I posted few times and Tanja replied. And andgry words that followed and open show the annoyance are not helping at all. Tanja, you are precious and see you as God would already - through the blood of Christ, washed, clean, purified, ..saved, born again, perfected, a reflection of Christ. God sees yesterday, today, tomorrow - you know that, right? He is compassionate... He is patient with us all and with you too. You are precious in His eyes - that is for sure - I can't prove it to you - I know it for sure. Understand only one thing that life here is temporary and God sees eternity and we are created for eternity. Eternity either with Him or without. As far as passing life here is concerned, the troubles we bring on ourselves and the attacks enemy throws at us God uses as tools to form in us something for eternity and to darw us closer to Himself - a place where we ultimately find joy and peace and satisfaction. Things that we do here (get married, work, etc) they are temporary and do not bring real fulflment. Every situation (and the one you are in too) has some joys and advantages but ultimately they are all filled with sorrows and trials and are just tools to bring us to realisation that we need God. But if we do give our lives over to Him and enter into the relationship with him through the blood of Jesus and start getting to know Him and use every sad part of our life experience as a fuel to run closer to Him, everything will work for our ultimate good, though some sadness will inevitably be on our way for this world is marred with our sin and is passing... You are loved and I will pray for you for some time. |

Look all around you at the natural beauty of this world and the beauty of the animals and how they all have their own little personality. None of this can just had happened by itself, and perfection of the universe. But realize that evil also exits and those that allow evil use them to hurt and destroy others have given themselves to the will of evil and not to the all mighty God. Lord I pray you will give this person the wisdom and understanding they need to see you do exist and you are a loving caring God. All we have to do is to open our heart to you and allow you to lead our steps. I pray this in Jesus name, amen.

I find it offensive when someone comes here blaming God for their problems, & I do believe as a Christian it is instinctive to stand up for GOD. He Is our Father & inside of ourselves need to defend HIM as we love HIM. As to judging, I do think that as Christians we do need to be careful when advising others, that we remain humble by recalling our walk. It is helpful & healthy when advising others to either mention times of our own difficulty to help them understand where we were & now are. Of course doing so with discernment, public boards w/too many details may not be the place to do so, but I do believe that a humble nature is what Christ asks of us. I will say that these threads where someone is truely questioning their walk, also brings out some beautiful posts too, that we do share from our hearts in trying to help others. I get a lot out of these threads & I feel pretty solid with my walk as a Christian (thank THE LORD). As Adoring1 says & so agree, we are nothing without HIM. Too, something that may be helpful, there comes a point as a Christian in our walk, when we seek to save others (also instinctive in someone that loves HIM/ to want others to know that peace, love & joy of GOD); that the bible says not all are called/not all have HIS NAME. Having said that, to find peace in our own minds, hearts & souls as children of CHRIST, that we can still be loving as God asks us. Not in anger, but appreciating others for who they are, that God Made all of us. There are so many reasons for things happening as they do in this world. I think we cannot even begin to fathom all of this. There is much that is opposing in this world. The North & South pole, even in the bible one must discern, ie, it says, "it is not good for man to be alone." But there are guidelines for divorce & remarriage. ALWAYS discernment, finding balance in our lives, following HIS WORD, by doing whatever it takes to be pleasing to him. It's complicated & hard work. Forgiveness in sin is written, however we pay a price for our sins that in correction we may suffer, this is to teach us. That's why there is judgement day. We are given our rewards based on our choices. We are forgiven but there's a new home, we recieve according to what we sew. & God Is The Author so it plays out mysteriously, beautifully, completely, for HIM! We are to keep our focus on HEAVEN, & as Christians we can give witness when said & done that GOD IS. EVERYTHING for HIS GLORY. I hear guest really struggling with the question asked, is everyone called. As my understanding, no. We don't have to bash, good point, we also don't have to make into fixing because God Is The Healer, but we can share our testimony, defend our Father, that a soul may be saved. The interplay of humans is Huge. We do affect each other, but looking @ this through The Eyes of God, finding other's beauty, our own joy that we share, peace in our lives with HIM. I don't know that, "guest," would have found husband earlier if she had been more, "mature," because many people marry, divorce, marry again & again, that are not mature, so marriage does not equal maturity, if it did, the divorce rate would be much less than it is ! The maturing...................is in CHRIST JESUS, for HIM. As Christians it is normal to be in defense of our FATHER. & AMEN!!!!! When we speak, we speak in Truth in love, that is THE WORD, also realizing that we are interpreting CHRIST'S WORD through The HOLY SPIRIT (that He died for our sins, that we may live), & that each person has this ability on their own that they are called to CHRIST JESUS. & LOVE. LOVE, LOVE & LOVE. So, when we are insensed at another's inability to see HIS TRUTH, then calm ourselves that we rejoice in what we are given, in our own human, mortal & fallible natures. Take the, "plank out of your own eye, that you can see the speck in your brother's." & then rejoice again. What if we ask, guest... can you share a time you helped another in need, that would be pleasing to God? probably the answer is many times. we give HIM PRAISE. This I think is what God Wants from us. To see the love & goodness in others & when they cannot even see it in themselves. To believe, in HIM, that HE IS = LOVE. we love. not a lowering of our standards at all, as Christians, but loving to the highest degree we are able, as God = Love. We are not perfect, we are perfecting in & with CHRIST JESUS & we, "are on in CHRIST." God = Love It's all so huge & beautiful & awesome & yes, accepting The Love of God Is Awesome & so powerful. I do appreciate this forum. It is in our sharing of our walk, praying with & for others, that we heal, in HIS HOLY NAME.

Mel...we all have choices to make. And we all will make them. You are 19 years old and this is a woman of almost 40 who is entering middle age with the same anger as that of a child. Time is not on her side. This is a Christian site. A site where God is to be revered. Whatever your opinion or mine or anyone else's really doesn't matter. Only God's opinion does. We are all allowed to make our choices. You say that real Christian's do not speak so...have you read the letters from Paul to the churches? Has your anger changed anything...did mine when I had it many years ago or anyone elses change anything for the positive? Did speaking of the Lord in such an irreverent way bring you what you wanted? From your posts I think not. Being without respect for the Lord only brings misery...and while you may disagree with the method of direct communication...sometimes it is necessary for a wake up call. No one here wants to force anyone to do anything...but we also have a choice to make. To sit and watch God be maligned or attacked...and to speak words of solace while he is insulted...or not. While you have the right to disagree, it is important to determine what is being gained. I will go to my grave defending my God against those who speak of him like he is a homeboy off of the street. It matters not what you think of me to me...or what you don't. You can insult me personally and I really will not care...but to insult the Creator is a sin and Christians who stand by and say nothing become equally vested in that sin. When you were behaving so you were doing so from the mind of a child...with little life experience to do anything else...but this is a different type of battle. One for the soul of a woman who has many less years to correct her course. None of us is perfect and yes we all fall short...but God never does and is not to be blamed when we do... You are right when you say Christians are supposed to be kind and giving...but we are also to speak truth and stand against what is evil to the death. Irreverence is of the enemy...is evil and is not of God. I and others here stand against it...but most importantly...I stand FOR a change in this woman's heart that she might know the fellowship of her Creator...and most of all that she might avoid the pains of hell through unbelief. What we think becomes what we say. What we say becomes real...words have power...from the mouth of God they created the universe...the words we speak about our God and his relationship to us define us...It is my hope that the words we speak will cut through the muck and mire to reveal truth of who God is and therefore who we really are...and yes I stand by what I said...blaming God isolates us leaves us alone and leaves us broken...healing and growth only come through him...if we could do it on our own...none of us would be here seeking prayer. God bless us all. |
