Precious Jesus, provide Tom with food. Lord, bless him to be able to buy food, medicine, and pay bills. Lord, I ask that he be lifted up and filled with Your love. Surround all that are in need with caring friends and strangers. In this I ask in Your name,Jesus.Amen.

Father, please bless Tom Terrific with food and medicine...please touch him to be in contact with his doctor that prescribes the medicine and advise him of his situation. There are many programs by pharmaceutical companies for which he might qualify that would be able to help him. In addition, physicians get free samples of most medicines they prescribe and most would be happy to provide them to their patients if they knew the circumstances. 20 years ago, I found myself in a similar situation during the recession of the 90's and massive layoffs and was blessed to have my doctor help me through times like this. Tom many are willing to help if they have the means...but we must let them know we need help. The word says we have not because we ask not...ask God first and those that can help second...such as doctor's, social workers etc...and watch his hand in the support you will receive. May you be blessed deeply this holiday season in all ways...Spiritual and physical. In Jesus name...Amen!

Lord, that YOU PROVIDE food & medicine to Tom, help him to know where to turn to get the help he needs with this, we give you thanks for his continued faith, his strong spirit, work ethic, that he has a job Lord, AMEN.
Tom, one of the most difficult things a person has to do at times is reach out & ask for help, it is humbling, it is a pride thing, very difficult. I pray that you find just the connections you need to have food on the table, & the medicines you need.
Lord God, that these connections also be a place Tom can give testimoney of YOU, that others may also be of service to him & he learn to humble himself ongoing, this is not easy for anyone to do, but it is in our humbling ourselves that we see YOU JESUS.
Thank YOU for Tom & his strengths Heavenly Father.

The reason that I am requesting this prayer is because we don't take the time to really know people. We are too engaged with our own lives that we don't see the needs of others. This is very true of Christians.

I am the single man who lives alone and no one is aware of my situation. I thank God that I have a full time job but when I get paid, I ask myself the same question: DO I PAY MY BILLS OR DO I BUY FOOD AND MEDICINE? I have been paying my bills but have no money to buy food or medicine. I haven't had any food in my home for several weeks. I have not told anyone about my situation because I am ashamed and embarrased to ask for help.

All that I am asking is that God would provide an answer to my prayers and that He will meet my needs for His daily bread. We live in a great country but we can't even take care of our own citizens who need help. Please open your eyes and see the needs of other people who are crying out for help.

God gave me a new life five years ago after Hurricane Katrina killed all of my family and my home was destroyed by 15 feet of water. God brought me to Texas and gave me a new beginning. I thank God for delivering me and for His restoring me tenfold. PRAISE YOU, JESUS!

During this Thanksgiving season, talk to someone you don't know, invite them to church, or tell them about Jesus and most of all, take the time to listen to others. Remember, it's not what we say; it's what we don't say that speaks volumes.

I will be praying for your needs and I thank you for taking time to read my prayer request.
