In the Name of the Lord, right now I command to all the power of darkness and the curses to leave this person! Now!
I pray that Your will to be done in their life.
You are the King of kings and Your Name is Wonderful.

Heavenly Father

Most of us have areas of life with addictions, some of us just eat too much, others have other issues. We know that you care for ALL OUR NEEDS, but that certain issues, keep you from acting in our behalf. Therefore, my prayer is that you may place this person is skilled trained hands to assist in ways where this addiction may be permanently controlled. Also, bring them to repentance as all addictions are IDOLS (in place of God) and must be slain.

Heal, guide, and assist, in Jesus Name, Thank you Father we love you!

No, I do not think it is because you have not been baptized. While we are directed to do this by God...the act of salvation is the saving grace...baptism is the symbolic piece according to Theologians. I think that yours is the same walk of all Christians...when we are young in the Lord we often find ourselves moving two steps forward an done step back. Like life...the more our experience with the things of God...the greater our understanding...and ability to handle life's challenges becomes...this is true in life and also true in things Spiritual.

Father help havemercylord2010 to be more patient and kinder with himself. His growth has been far greater than he yet sees...but others see it in how his prayer life is changing and how he focuses on the needs of others more and more and not just his own concerns. Father, bless him richly in his journey as he truly has a heart for you and your people...give him wisdom and strength and most of all let him harness your love that is upon him and within him that he might serve you in even greater ways as he grows. Thank you Father for this man and his willing spirit. In Jesus name...Amen!

Do you think this might be because I am not baptized yet? I mean it is the same with my mental health. I do believe in miracles that they can and do happen, but with my addictions and mental health they are very long term issues and there are often times when I do not feel healed. I do admit, things are gradually improving. Maybe that is a reflection of me having little faith to start and now it is growing. I think I just answered my own question!! I just realized, when I am plugged into the Lord and feeling full faith I could not not feel better. But it is often after those times that the temptation for my addiction comes, and I suppose I don't always fight it successfully, or even enough.

Please jesus help this person fight this addiction. Please send people their way to help with support. Make them strong and able to fight this urge. Make them hate the feeling and thought of this addicting thing. I pray for guidance and support and counseling to help them get strong and be free from this. I pray all these things in jesus name AMEN!

Lord, I confess to you that I have fallen into my addiction yet again. I am so weak where these demons are concerned. I am seeing how weak I am and how much I seem unable to please you by stopping this behavior. I am so sorry Lord and I feel quite at a loss. I feel quite dumb struck.

But Father, in the build up to me giving into my addictions, I could feel how the prayers I and others have said for my addictions are being answered, because I could feel your strong protection around me trying to save me from it. I pray now for more of that, and progressively more and more so that I will be truly freed from these addictions. I know you are winning this battle for me Lord as I truly felt your strength, but then I gave into my weakness. Lord you say that you are strong in our weaknesses, so please Lord put your strength where I am weak, make me more able to fight temptation. Make me finally and truly victorious in this battle against sin.

In Jesus name Amen.
