Please pray for my son's dad to have a change of heart toward me and my son. We were not married, nor did he even commit to living with us. I've raised our son alone for nearly nine years, while his dad and I 'dated' - had an unhealthy relationship. His dad has gotten back into church and seems to now consider me unworthy of his love. It's a hard situation to be in, because he didn't include me in his life and yet now uses the statement that we are "too different" to be together. I pray that he will find it in his heart to love us enough to try again. I am committed to him, and to the family we already created - though we did not go about it the "right way," I am proud to be the mother of his son and would love to someday become his wife. He is having a meeting at church this week and I am praying that he is touched there, and given strength and faith to open his heart to me again.
I've reflected a lot on our relationship in the six months we have been apart, and I have asked him to give us another chance. I hope he can find it in his heart to make a place for us in his life on a full-time basis.
Thank you for considering my prayer request.
