Prayer for healing
I am praying for a complete healing -- both physical and emotional -- following the birth of my son last December. I pray and thank God in advance for his healing, for restoring me to perfect health in every way for myself, and my family.

I pray to God that he gives me the strength, peace, courage to help me get off medication that was prescribed for me with good intentions by doctors who thought that I was what I needed. Instead of addressing the issue which was post traumatic stress disorder, following a traumatic birthing experience, I was numbed by medication. I know that I do not need this medication, and have been tapering off them for the last few weeks.

I pray that I am fully restored, that I, once again, have peace, perfect health, happiness and joy again. I know how blessed I am to have the most wonderful, loving husband and son, and that is what keeps me strong in the midst of all that has happened.

I take authority over the feelings of fear, panic and anxiety and I cast them all out in Jesus' name, forever.

I know that my God is a faithful God, and that he will not only restore me, but bless me and my family double for our trouble.
