Father God,
Satan has crept in unawares in the heart of this marriage. I rebuke him back into the pits of hell from where he has risen to attack families. Father, You know his mission and You have revealed it to us. As I share this vision with my dear sister, please bless her soul, spirit and mind. Comfort her Holy Spirit as only You can.
My dear sister in Christ. Please be at peace, know that our Father knows just what we have need of before we even ask. He knows your husbands heart as well as yours. There have been things said in this marriage on both sides that were very hurtful. I ask that you first repent of the things that you said to your husband that encouraged his anger and rage. We can only pray for our spouses that they will seek forgiveness for their wrongs, but we must repent of ours.
When his spirit is alined with your spirit in the right direction, then you can go forward and be all that God is calling you to be as husband, wife, mother and father. We must first, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all other things will be added unto us."

My dear sister, we must understand that it doesn't take a "ginsu" knife to kill someone's spirit. We can kill someone with our mouths. In the book of James you can read about the tongue being a deadly poison. When we are angry, we are told to sin not in the bible, but of course the flesh will make us sin if we are not under the subjection to the Holy Spirit at all times.
Now don't think for one minute that this is just for you. This is for all of us. Amen!
I have said things when I was angry that I shouldn't have said, only to have to repent of it later. It was when I allowed the Holy Spirit to come in and control that mouth of mine, that I found out how to not stab my spouse with my mouth.
These are the killers of many marriages. The things that we say, can kill a marriage a lot quicker than the things that we do.
We must first humble ourselves and ask God forgiveness for the hurtful things that we say out of anger. We must then go to the person that we have offended and ask their forgiveness in humility.
Do not expect that person to except the apology right away. You have taken the first two step then. Now, you must prove it with your actions. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you not repeat those actions again.
Now, then it is up to your husband to correct his wrongs. You CANNOT fix your husband. This is up to God to do. You can only take care of yourself in that area. We must answer to God for ourselves. Even though we are married, all we can do is be the example that God has called us to be.
I know that you heard the saying, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it." Well, that is the way it is with our children and spouses. We can only be the salt of the earth, we cannot make anyone like the salt.
Look in the mirror and see what manner of woman that God has created you to be, and be that woman. That is the woman that your husband fell in love with. When you become that woman again, he will see the God-woman he married.
Be blessed my sister in Christ.

I take God at His Word. I trust Jesus Christ for my salvation. Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner, but You have shown Your love for me by dying to forgive my sins, and You have proven Your power to save me from death by Your resurrection. Lord, change my heart, and save me by Your Grace.

I pray for Lynn and Mike, reveal to them anything in their own heart that is threatening their union. I pray for the restoration of their marriage into the covenant that You intended. I pray that Your Love flows through each of them to the other.

I pray that Mike receives salvation from his demons. I pray that Lynn receives salvation from her tormentors. I pray for Your protection of Lynn, Mike, the family and their marriage. I ask for God’s forgiveness. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, Amen.

lynn68 Wrote:Lord, I ask that You would take all thoughts of divorce out of my husband's mind and heart. Please open his eyes to see how far away that is from Your best for his life and our lives together. For times we have discussed divorce or when he has used the word divorce as a way out of our problems, I come before you on his behalf and ask for Your forgiveness. Where the spirit of divorce has found a home in his heart, please break that stronghold by the power of Your Spirit. Destroy that lie of the enemy so that it can never rise up again. Show him a better way, which is Your way for our lives. Let there be no divorce in our future. Please show him to use our current separation to self-examine & work to restore our marriage. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

I pray that all thoughts of divorce will be destroyed and that only love for his wife and marriage will be all that he wants for ever more in jesus name i pray.

Father I raise all of this, this family and each and every individual involved in this situation. I pray that healing and reconciliation may begin for this family. Bring peace, love and restoration. Help Lynn through this, guard her heart and mind, give to her peace that surpasses all understanding, comfort her and prepare a way for her Lord. Let her hear your gentle, loving voice. May you guide her every step and be a lamp unto her feet. May she know that she is forgiven and set free and let nothing beset her or put her under bondage. I pray that any burden and any confusion placed on her would be lifted. I pray for her husband, Lord, that you would pull him from any pathway that leads him astray and ask that you would put a hedge around him, open his eyes so that he perceives, unstop his ears so that he hears, let him know the instructions you have for him. I am asking Lord to come quickly and help, put a new hope in their hearts and turn it around for them, in Jesus name, Amen.

Lord I pray you will turn those baby steps into giant steps and may Lynn never give up. Let her see how great Thou art, show her your power over all circumstances no matter how impossible they may seem to us. May she come out stronger in you Lord after all this is over. Touch her husband's heart and have him return to her repented of all he has done and loving her more than ever. Heavenly Father touch her children hearts also, open their spiritual eyes and hearts, may they see that for you nothing is impossible. Bind them all with your unconditional love, and bring a reconciliation into their marriage for all to see how wonderful you are and be amaze of your power. May Lynn keep her mind in what you can do for her and her marriage. May she not be blinded by what she sees or hear around her. Let her always remember that we walk by faith and not by what we see in our material life. May they make you the cornerstone of their live, marriage and family. May all these be done for your Honor and Glory I pray and thank you in advance in Jesus Christ Precious Name, Amen! Warrior

Thank you Guest. I have tried this with no luck. I think he is hanging on to the fantasy that this other person will make him happy. : ( He still isn't apologetic for his contributions to our problems (he has said now that he knows he did contribute to them also, so I guess that's a baby step).

I unite my prayers with my sister and ask in jesus name that this family be strenghtened and united. Let them find the love they once had for each other. Show them the way to a happy marriage. Open the husband's eye to forgiveness. I was once in the same position as you. My husband wanted to leave our family and get a divorce. I lived in fear and depression. I prayed constantly for Jesus to bring my husband back. But nothing happened. One day I humbled myself and opened my heart to my husband. I told him how much I loved and needed him and how sorry I was for my part in our seperation. My husband cried and told me that he thought that I did not love him anymore and that is why he wanted to leave. You must open your heart and tell your husband of your love for him. I pray in Jesus name that you find your way back to each other.
