Thank you brother David for this. It gives me some clarity. God bless you

As I was reading your question the Spirit brought to my mind the times that the Lord Jesus after healing and teaching He would often go off into the quiet countryside and spend time with His Father alone to refresh His soul. I think when we heavily minister in prayer and service to others there is a certain emptying of our spirit that takes place that requires refreshing or recharging if you will. Our Lord's life even in this manner was a perfect example for us to follow. I believe this might be what you could be feeling. Take time to quietly read the Psalms and reflect on the Lord's goodness and provision. The powerful admonition that says "Be still and know that I am God" seems fitting for those times as well. God bless you my dear friend and sibling in Christ.

Your brother in Christ Jesus always,

Brother David

Sometimes after I have been praising God and praying deeply and feeling a certain clarity , a dull heavy feeling comes over me- it is usually when i have been praying for someone else or sharing a word with them, this seems to follow a breakthrough in prayer- I am not sure what it is about- am i taking on their stuff, or is it a counter attack from the enemy after what feels like a fruitful prayer time, it also feels slightly like hitting a wall- like there is no place else to go at that particular time
I know this is a prayer forum but if anyone has experienced this or may have insight I would appreciate it. I have read before that when praying/interceding for somebody unsaved deeply we can feel their oppression- or maybe it is just something to do with me , perhaps mental exhaustion- perhaps it signals it is time to stop praying for a while, and do something else.

Thank youJesus-sign
